Hi Alecia, im just going to do a simple ROM, so am choosing the one from Peony Jade (the folks prefers chinese food). The package is on their website.

Havent decided on the dress, makeup and hair tho..

Purple... When is yr ROM? I heard fr Peony Jade, you can only book for the table 3 mths in advance. Is it true?

By the way, are you gng for Actual Dinner Banquet? Or only ROM?

Hi Bingqiling, my ROM is on 30th Jan 2011. Which is less than 2 weeks from now! Hmm.. counting it, it was only 2 months notice. I guess its more of whether they have available slots for you? My actual day will be in 2012, most prob not in Peony Jade since they can only hold up to 25 tables?
Sadly the Kepple Club's sea view is being blocked by the ongoing project to built some bridge... grrr.. am waiting for them to reply for alternatives.

I see... I am thinking to hold my ROM in Keppel most of it because of the seaview. Hmm... You booked for how many table?

I am thinking to get a small room for the simple lunch. Don't know they have minimum table or not.

Im having my ROM this year too, have chosen Poney Jade for my ROM as well, and yes, they can only allow you to book the place 3 months before ur ROM date...

Hi all, I am new to the forum. Planning to ROM this or next yr. depending on whether I can get all the plannings done. any recommendations on what to start first? thanks!!

Usually a lot of people will say decide on ur budget first... But I find it so hard to! Anyway, I would say, go shop ard for bridal studios now, even though u are only planning for ROM. Cos bridal studio packages will usually include trial makeup which u can use during ur ROM, some may even throw in a ROM gown. Then u shd also consider on e venue.. That will be a bigger headache, but usually e prices, size and preferences kind of narrows it down for u.. Once u have these 2big item settled, u go find ur JP available on that day, timing. Then, photographers, ROM cert etc comes in..

I'm thinking of doing some simple ROM photos and if possible inclusive of makeup/hairdo. I'm not going to have customary and ROM photos would be it.

Anyone has any contacts to share? I can't find many online. And I called up the makeup/hairdo artist, they charged very high for single session makeup/hairdo for ROM or even for normal dinner function.
