Just wanna rant a little about normal life... I wanted to get a dress really badly from LoveBonito today and the launch is at 2pm and I waited since 1.55pm, but apparently the whole world was waiting there too, cuz when I log into the page, ready to make my selection, the dress is already gone!

I didn't fancy any EG from my bridal shop so planning to mtm. But seems like it's costly to mtm a gown.
Btw, what are your themes for the banquet? Mine is scarlet garden (red + black)

I m only going to try out AD gown in April, hope can find 1 that makes me slimmer! Lol lose weight plan shi bai! Lol I dun have determination n feel as long as I m happy n healthy jiu hao, haha can never jian fei :/
I went tangs, taka, isetan, far east but can't find any shoes...my feet looks better in covered ones or peep toe shoes but all too high heels, if wear so high de I m going to be much taller than hubby n so high hard to walk. At
most 2 inches for me

Wen, I got my album few weeks back. But haven got my softcopies yet.
my layouts remain as simple as it is, as we don't like too many designs will outdated one.. Haha!

I am getting a small wedding cake for solemnization then dun have the cut cake part during the banquet. More meaningful And it's not a big cake.
W3n - actually if you are fussy about shoes then go and custom make bah...at least you can choose exactly what u want. Oh I forgot to mention. Robinsons has a brand that also has some covered shoes. I saw it in raffles city, no harm taking a look.

w3n, I have to mtm another gown 'cuz I think my EG I took for photoshoot is pretty normal.
I got my shoes from Anna Ricci @ FEP. I rem they have many designs to choose from. U can check the shop there.
I took my bridal shoot just recently, selected pics and add on to more $$$ for more pics.. >.< The layout will only be ready in March. If there is a chance, mayb I can show u when ready.

@w3n, i will be collecting my album in March, so can't show you the layout now. we have requested for simple layout with white border, instead of those fanciful borders, overlapping of photos kind of layout. cos both htb and myself prefer simple and classic look. like what mich mentioned, it wont get outdated. hehe.

Hi Kass, I just went T Dragon to select my wedding invites. My hotel is tie with them. The printing cost on card is $170 for 200 pieces and add-on icon is $10 one price. Hope this helps.

Chloe Ong >> For me, because GWP has its own wedding invites, the vendors will pick up the cards from GWP for printing. If we want our own printers, just have to go to GWP to pick up the invites and bring for printing ourselves. I dunno if it works the same way for mandarin oriental. You might wanna check with them??

Chloe >> Consent form is available on the website. Just need to download, fill in the details, scan and then send to Mr Chiang to sign. Mr Chiang told me can do this after e-filing, cuz the consent form is only required for the VD/SD appointment a few days before your AD.

btw, our copy of marriage cert will bear just the JP's signature, right? heard from my colleague that our signatures and the 2 witnesses' signatures will be on ROM's copy (to be filed and kept by ROM). anyone can confirm this?

I have gotten the invite sample from my hotel. let me know if anyone needs.
the hotel's preferred printer is Yitai and 2nd preferred is Tdragon.
How much cheaper if we were to go JB? not sure if it's worth the effort. I'm having ard 35 tables so max no. of invites is 350. if i choose the most simple format, it will only cost me around $200-300.

Btw gals, i was at CK dept store at Chinatown ytd. I saw few pairs of wedding heels like Anna Nucci selling at $49.90 by Vincci. I tink Vincci at CK dept store is having 20% sale. U may wish to go down and have a look. Looks nice. Was tempted to buy!

Thanks gals. I was quite worried in e first place. Cos I went to e gown selection with my htb only, and he did not give me any opinions at all. So it's just based on my own taste and I'm known for having bad taste. Phew! Now I'm more assured.
It's not mtm. That's why I'm able to dl e pics from their website. Went to their website first to do research. Fell in love with e WG at first sight. When I was there, I requested for it. As mentioned in one of my posts earlier, I only took 2 hours to select 5 gowns for my PS (which will include 2 AD gowns) so I'm quite worried that my gowns are not nice.

michelle, i will be going to T and T also. When i went City Sq i walked passed the shop before. I think i will go in to print sometime in March (early to mid). but lets say we need to have 80 invites, how many extra do u all tink we should print? (for those just in case write wrong or invite others - plan B invitation)?
I went to t dragon yesterday n had confirmed the printing order with them. Roseline is very nice n informative! Haha. Price quoted to us was first 100 pcs $160 (hot stamping inserts/ on card), we chose to have inserts with shiny gold wordings. Though htb is msian, we would like to save the trouble of traveling to JB, not much price difference for us too since we r not printing alot. Only 100 pcs.
Oh ya, we have chosen 2 colors for our invites, cream and red. Red is for the elderly, it comes with the Chinese 'xi' wording on the front and cream is more western, it comes with english 'a wedding invitation' wordings so more for friends.
Next step is to wait for t dragon to email me the draft invites then proof read and confirm printing by early march.
