thomas: I mean my mum - she..haha..ya they also got sell the furry furry ornaments as hair accessories or corsages de..I intend to go take a look there also since I stay so near.
 
Thomas - Erm... duno how much is a token sum.... he is not a photographer by profession, more of a hobby and also help us as fren... I think I still prefer to buy him a prezzie...

KK - Bought my shoes from Ann* Nucc*... think this shop now very popular for wedding/dinner shoes cos last week when I step into my bridal shoe with their paper bag, my co-ordinator immediately ask ' you brought your shoe along? alot of brides-to-be buy their shoes from this brand'.... you need to budget for ard $100 for a pair unless if they have some discount or promotion going on...
 
xfz: I cannot advise u on how much to give, will depend on how close he/she is to u. Buying presents for others always gives me headaches, I prefer to give token sum of $$$, easier for everyone too.
 
Thomas - Yup I understand your point... still got 2 more months for me to shop around for the prezzie... haha worst come to worst will be following your direction of giving AP =)
 
randyce - I tried yoga last time but not much effect... not a good swimmer as well hehe... now doing kickboxing but wanna do more for the arms cos it really troubled me when i tried on my gowns...

Will running help to slim down arms also? Or its more of a overall slimming thing?

DIY staff for ROM venue or??? Sat i cant make it wor... wen is the next meet up again??

btw, how do ur did ur ROM invitation cards??
 
should carry light weights or back facing the bench with hand facing outwards on the bench and do squat... like sitting in the air....
 
annisan > mine done using the following steps
1) brainstorm for ideas
2) take photo
3) photoshop + design
4) print on my own printer
5) put glitter
6) send to friends.

Total : about 20 cards, less than $15. Bulk of the cost goes to buying the paper for the cards.

Thomas - Yes flabby arm... in person when you see me it still looks ok.... but when taking picture oh my god it just look expanded... then make my overall look so unproportionate... become like very bulky at the shoulder and arms...
 
maybe swimming is better for overall toning, cos exercise more portions of the body. but I don't think its good for losing weight. swimming also got the problem of getting sun tan =P

annisan - me also DIY-ing my ROM invitation...
my cards style will be abit scapbooking style... if do not have alot of cards to DIY, I suggest you go to the library and read up on cardmarking for ideas... unless you have a lot of cards then try to utilise the printer more then doing craftwork like mine... initially I already have idea on how to do my card but on Sunday I stumble across some cardmaking books in the library and wah alot of new ideas come flooding through my mind haha...
 
XFZ > mine is the lazy way marr... use computer to do easier to customise and mass produce =P

scrapbooking. sounds like a lot of effort needed. I think you probably need to start as early as 2 months before.

Will you dye your hair for PS or just black hair for PS? Which is better?
 
xfz: only the neck lucky not a major injury. Lucky my gym has indoor swimming pool if not i doubt i will go swimming haha.

I will dye my hair for PS.

Darrel - Cos mine only a few cards otherwise I will also choose to use the printer hehe... but not exactly cheap to buy those materials to DIY also...

annisan - Me nv check out on printing services so not sure exp or not... but this pricing will work out to near $8 for a card... IMO I won't spend so much on just printing cards...

randyce - was initially comtemplating to just use black hair for PS but that day at the bridal shop, my co-ordinator was saying black looks dull on me would suggest I go dye my hair... so if confirming dye hair, early June have to dye for ROM... then followup with touch up of the roots when near to PS time in Sep/Oct... then have to headache what colour to dye...
 
xfz> oh, will defintely color my hair. i'm fair, so black looks quite contrast on me. maybe u can try some that's more natural, like what randyce mentioned.

xfz: maybe after ur PS if u want den change to red hee. But 1 thing i dun like red colour is the colour tends to run very easy so in the end become gold which will make the hair very dry looking
