Seems that you have been a close follower of Fann wong news. lol. Think she's holding her wedding at either Shangri-La or Ritz Caltron. Im speculating to be the former though. Just my guess. =P

As for diamond, for a $50K 2 carats diamonds... it an average one we are looking at.... probably not the best colour at D, best clarity at IF/ FI, not the best cut and proportions of diamond. A good quality of 2 carats can go up to as high as $100K and above. So there is something in the 4Cs that Fann or should I say Christopher have compromised on. Take a walk to the Jewelers say Je Taime or Larry, you'll figure out the sums vs quality. =)

Anyway, end of day, it an expression of love from the spouse... irregardless of the size and quality.. so really there's no need for comparisons. =)

i do agree $50k for 2C is not the best around...but then again...i cannot afford that so no point comparing or commenting how gd or how bad the rock may be...i'm talking more abt the price of the ring rather than the rock on it. saw a ring in LH wisma which cost $400k...that's more than the price of my 4 room flat...really jaw drop...

seriously...i think of diamond as over-priced carbon and i told eva that too...hahaha...wat's most impt is the love lar...not the rock...

Actually there are still a good handful of people out there in SG that can afford that $50K. some even go beyond. so its not something uncommon, just that its a small minority. =)

Of course, the foundation of the relationship and love is the most important.... but there are and will always be guys out there who can afford it and dont mind spending on the women they love. =)

Mister Print quote me $50 for layout as they have to retype the whole thing then send for printing. I only have the hard copy and not the soft copy. If i had the soft copy then i would be able to do the printing myself. Anyway thanks a lot of your help.

All my invitation cards had written our friends' name liao.. So not able to do anything. I had try to photocopy my templates into colour paper and cut according to the card's size. Will be bringing it home to ask my PIL if it's ok as the ink is in black colour. If not ok, i think i have to type it out words by words. Thanks anyway.

yeah, agree! To each his own. End of day, there are always 2 extreme side of a stick. some can simply spend on everything single item of a list he or she wish for. while the other dont. so no point going into the details too. as long the couple happy.

paradise is rite, 3 oct 09 is 15th day of 8th lunar month. it is a super duper auspicious date. I was also given this date and a few other dates.

if you decide to take this date. u have to book your BS, banquet, PG, VG, everyting fast as alot of couples will be holding theirs on this date. otherwise, you wouldn't get your 1st choice.

hi Joshua, my wedding favours will be provided by the hotel. I have not seen what they have yet. But I guess I am going for their embroided bookmarks, this is one of those which I like when I signed up with them.

Hi gals, my auspicious hours:
1) hubby to reach my place 7am - 9 am.
2) I am to reach hubby's place 9 am to 11am.
3) I am to be back to my place 11am - 1pm.
1pm is just nice for my PG, who will go back to do the express morning highlights!

She only organize once and last min she need to fly areoplane due to last min work thingy.

hence this time round, she decide not to commit too early so as to avoid disappointment again.
If she can make it this fri, I'll be joining too.
Things looks well at this point of time thus a high chance that we'll be joining. *wink*

P/s: I do hope that this gathering really materialize as to proof me wrong that you gals(guy) really WILL meet up rather than all talk no actions. =P

my wedding favors are also provided by the hotel. I am selecting chocolate pralines. Something to eat is always good. The rest of the stuff will just be thrown around i felt. Choose something useful lah. Its better that way,
