yes i totally agree. at least my restaurant they are willing to let mi have +2 spare tables and if i dont open the table they wont charge me for it.

Yap i'm getting my parents to call up the relatives to confirm how many ppl coming.

my most headache part is my work place. we get our roster only one week once eg for roster from Sat to Friday, we will only get it on Thur.

My restaurant wants me to confirm the total num of tables by this week. so i'm really stress up now.

For me, though 30+2, but end up only open 28 tables (due to my mom friends fly kite and his dad friends fly kite)

but lucky, have generous friends as well as his sisters who gave quite alot.
Thus help to cover.

haha, mine is a two days PS... ya, indeed... guess more photos = more selection = more headache... wil get 2 view photos soon, maybe next wk.

thian hock keng temple was taken during indoor PS coz is juz opp my bridal shop... rest of e locations start abt 12noon (makeup &amp; stuffs) to 10pm (return back to bridal shop)... no much break in between... PGs suggest these locations since is along e way... so juz tk lor... haha... 2PGs on each days... izit normal for other BS?

doll> actually i had my eyes on another pair, but the heels very thin, den my friends say i sure fall down one. haha. so i asked the salesperson for a thicker heel and she recommended me that. hee. its very comfy! anyway, the salesperson told me the prices will be reduced during the great singapore sales but muz "fight" for the necessary size and design lo. i'm thinking of getting another pair of silver ones for photoshoot. hee

poseidon_gal: it's ok, no need to know much about make up. just maintain perspiration free and oil free and your make up will last. rbr to dab yr face, not rub.

hi ... finally my big date is over.

mi too, last min need to close down 3tables due to some of his dad friend and my sis friend. but overall we still manage to cover and earn quite alot for both side. super lucky.

really pissed off with some friend who last min put our aeroplane and didnt bother to sms or call to inform. but afterall it went smoothly for the night. i cant wait to see the photos soon. hope everyone happy preparing for their wedding.

i really have an enjoyable night although mine is a simple wedding. but the camera-man say im the busiest bride he ever seen. cos i been helping out the recept area for the table arrangement. everything is so rush cos of last min need to serve tea to his relative. overall a nice wedding night !!!!
 
Hi gals, the RSVP thing is really tricky. Having problems more with the relatives than friends.So far we have about 300 guests but my banquet coordinator advised us to go for 29+2 just in case of drop out. Hope everyone's busy but healthy! 10 more days for me!!! : )

And also, is it true that before customary, the couple cannot sleep in the MBR or on the bed itself?

still ok lar. my PG make the appt wif us on the day after PS. very fast. tink he no need to do touch up mah. so very fast can view liao. haha...

depends on ur family is it very traditional. some say new bedsheets can liao. of coz is auspicious color. like red, pink lar. no need hv the wording on it.

hmm. normally after an chuang cannot slp on the bed lor. b4 tat can...
 
pekochan, i dont intend to buy those traditional bedsheets for customary. checked with both parents and they are ok with it, will be using new bedsheets that are purple/maroon though. if you dont intend to use, better check with the parents first

wedding songs to practice? mine is play out one...dun need to sing...but more or less shortlisted a few...

i dun really like the normal aluminum plate one...that's y looking at the cartoon one...the names are bigger than the normal alu ones as well...

montage use MS movie maker? more advanced will be flash liaoz...
 
Thanks mashi &amp; superfamous. Is picking an auspicious date considered as 'an-chuang'? My parents are pretty okay, not too traditional so in that case, I won't buy those wedding bedsheets. Maybe like what you gals suggest, buy auspicious coloured bedsheets instead.

hmm. ppl will choose an auspicious date to an chuan. thise dates normally will b advise by ur shi fu. if ur date is pick by shi fu.. for ur case, i nt sure. who help u to choose date for ur AD. if based by both ur ba zi, then the person will b able to give u date to an chuang. normally is ard 1-2wks b4 ur AD. for mine is ard 1wk b4 my AD.

haha. my photos no touch up yet mah. sure can view very fast. after PS urs will also b fast.

Check with you gals, any idea mount faber Jewel box is a good place for phototaking ma.....I was thinking Marina Barrage,mount faber and either Punggol Field or east coast park....what do u all have any comments cos I cannot make decision...Think that Marina take in the day due to the dam is nice but then at night their senery is nice how ?? sobsob
 
mashi, haha...my dates all never ask shi fu wan. ROM &amp; AD dates are base on the website. "an-chuang" date is chosen by my dad, who just flipped the chinese calender (those you tear off everyday type) and there got indicate the dos&amp;don'ts on that day. Erm...then I also use that date to "an" my guan-yin lor. So that means we can't sleep on the bed?

normally after an chuang, nobody is allow to slp on the bed until the AD. also hor. only the couple is allow to go into the rm after an chuang. n especially preg woman is not allow in the rm.

*pengz*...so many R&amp;R ah?...Now I thinking whether to "an-chuang" or not liao lor. Coz our AD is in Oct. "an-chuang" on 23rd this month. So still got 5 more mths! Haha...coz my ah lao not as pantang as me lah...so muz compromise. Btw, what's the reason why pregnant woman cannot go inside the room? And if "an" the bed liao and we slp on it before AD, what will happen?

nobody an chuang so early de lar. only an chuang less than 1 mth. nearer to AD de. urs too early liao lar.

as wat i say. tats wat i hear fr my shi fu lor. its also depends on whether u wan to listen or nt. as for wat will happen, i really dun knw, haha.... they all say no gd to couple lor. never say much...keke..
