ic. but then for me, i will feel quite a waste lor. if to leave the new mattress n bed frame is my current house is totally useless and waste of money. haha..

as nobody will use tat bed. lol. so anyway my parents also tell me to shift the bed over. no need to waste extra $$ on tat.. which is gd lar.

but then if u buy an inferior mattress juz becoz to slp on it for few mths also no gd for ur body. so comes to the end, depends on who u wan to listen ba. haha...

nok...dun need envy...to a certain extend i rather have the chance to wrack everything and do all over...now cos most of the things are so new a waste to hack...like the switches and cables all concealed...cannot add switches where i want or need them...unless i hack the walls or false ceiling...likely place to put water feature cannot put cos no power...got power but odd place to put water feature...

i cannot put my bar counter also cos there's no space...eva's staying in the study for the time being so cannot make into entertainment room at least till sep...in laws staying with us so may not get to do an entertainment room also...cannot get the speakers i wan cos no chance to use anyway...

Hi Jolin, from my experience, you will get back your soft copies when you get your album. You are lucky that you can buy your soft copies. My BS doesn't allow us to buy just the soft copies. If we want, we have to pay for the album price and they will present to us as another album. In the end, we got 80 photos. But it was really hard to choose from over 500 photos. lol...

me using the tea-set that my parents used at my mother's side when they got married. still in perfect condition.

so only going to buy a set to be used for groom's side.

i think the set comes with 2 or 4 cups right? what my fren did, n i also saw other people do is, they have a warm basin of water at the side, so after serving tea, the "helper" (can be jiemei, can be auntie) will rinse the cups abit in the basin, before pouring tea again to serve the next pair of elders/relatives. if have 4 cups then will be fast la, can use the cups interchangeably.

whether to kneel or stand.. i guess depends on ur parents' and elders' standards lor. my parents expect us to kneel, cos it's a show of respect. so i guess that's what i'l be doing! if u think kneeling might be tough on hard floor, then put 2 cushions on the floor to kneel on lor! heez

42 poses is alot alr... what's more 80 photos!!! Ainsley, your package must be very expensive for u to have 80 photos unless you didn't opt for album. My package only 30 poses

Yup Jolin, normal situation is tat upon selection, you hv to wait for about 2-6weeks depending on the speed of ur BS to produce both the album &amp; soft copies CD together. Usually they will only give you the soft copies of your selected photos.

My BS is quite efficient I must say. My PS (Indoor) is on 7th Apr, PS (outdoor) is on 16th Apr due to mine and my husband-to-be's tight schedule. However knowing that our wedding is on June 20th, they say they will arrange for us to photo select at Apr end, and give us a few edited copies for designing invitation cards by 1st week of May. And according to them, album shd be ready by 3rd week or end of May. Very efficient right?

My photographer was really efficient too. Haha! My PS was 11 March and on 15 March, I received the soft copy of all the unedited photos. Spent a week selecting and within another week, he has sent us the proposed layout.

Rain, I think you should still have a march-in. My friend who had her wedding luncheon had a march in too. I was the emcee then.

Jolin, for honeymoon, we are going to Paris and Switzerland. Booked tic and accommondation in Paris. Still surfing around for stay in Switzerland.

Just to share my experience on my countless times as a tea ceremony helper. You would need 4 teacups so that you can wash 1 set while serving the other. We always have 2 small basins one empty and one with warm water and a small wet towel. after serving tea, we pour the remains in the empty basin, and rinse it in the warm water basin. The towel is used to remove the lipstick marks from the ladies... We also have a bag ready to put all the angpaos &amp; gifts into as usually nobody has any pockets to keep them. I had a friend who went 1 step further and asked a cousin to mark the angpaos so that she knows who gave how much. I thought it was a bit unnecessary but it's the bride's call. Hopfully this helps!

Anyway, I just went for my gown selection and for once I'm so glad that I am a 'M' to 'L' sized bride! cos of the 6th Dec hot date, alot of the 'S' sizes were already reserved! Luckily managed to choose my gowns in the end and quickly reserved them. Another item I can cross off my list, and now to lose the excess baggage which is my weight!
