Hmm...u may wana check out the new BS, D'sire at Amoy St. They do sell OTR WGs ranging from $488-$1500, which i find it reasonably priced! If u need EG and other makeup services and flowers, they have a package which is $3200 which includes MTM EG (rental). However this does nt include the WG; u'll have to buy the WG off-the-rack... hope that helps... =)

HK is good for winter wear. u going in dec right? should be the season for winter stuff but might not be on sale. i bought during their sale in march/apr.

hi gals, so envy tat u gals got to do and set up ur new home. sigh i cn onli stick to the hse that my FH shared wif his bros. my mum got her dress from a peranankan boutique fm Katong.
 
smilez, our plan is to get our helpers to set up the reception and solemnization room first. Then both our parents and close friends will be in the room waiting for us. My hubby and I will then march in with the ring bearer.

I just need to get the ribbons... As for the rest of materials for ang pao box, intend to re-cycle some of the materials i have. Like i am using one of the box (double A papers) that i found in the office. Will get some nice wrapping papers to wrap it. I have a pair of toy schnauzie.. which will lit up for when they kiss.. (it's so cute, that was a gift from my coll) will put them on top of the box..and add some ribbons.. Hope it will turn out okie.. Plus i am not gifted in handicraft, i am going to make it simple..

personally, I really dun like to apply for WIS for repurchased flat. Don't have that peace of mind lor. Also not new liao cuz may hv previous owner stay b4, no $$ pay, then HDB take back.

the only plus pt is price cheaper.

but sometimes repurchase also means they cant sold off in the open market so sold back to HDB..

My mum also tailored a cheongsam top with a long, flowy skirt.

As for makeup for mum & sis, for those of you staying in the East, I have a recommendation for a salon at Bedok area that does makeup & hair.. looks really good. Let me know if you need the contact.
 
yuki, your BS drag for quite some time already.. did you get your hubby to show them black face? I find that when the hubby takes action, they'll be more scared.
