..The ring is abit too small. so got to change to size 8 in case next time i gain weight and the ring will be too tight for me...i got to pay the alteration amount. so angry coz they keep saying i did try, but the tin is cum my mistake i didn't take note of the 'correct ring size'. My MIL and BIL was there with us that day and i quickly bought it coz we have been there very long. and the staff keep insisting that my finger expand coz i came from outside when i went there yest. but how can it expand so much and furthermore i have lost weight again...arghhh...
 
morning y'all. Sorry never come in earlier but on MC with a fever and flu...sniffles. Luckily got my FH to take care of me =P

Eve, ask if got pre dinner snacks and post dinner supper for u guys. Coz during the dinner no change to eat most of the time =P Like Jas said, see if can change to a 2nd nite stay, if u got frens who wanna stay over there, wat are the rates see if reasonable or not lor. If you need extra things like projector, LCD screen (dunno if ur one already got or not lah), the sound system all this, better ask also. after all. it doesn't hurt and I am sure she's kena-ed more odd requests before =P
 
One important thing...

Remember to ask if the hotel has any plan for renovation during the period of your wedding. And the "continuity" should your coordinator decide to move on to greener pastures....what's the hotel back up plan? Who's the back up coordinator? Ask to see the bridal suite if U can too.

I find this people too unethical. They are trying to shift the responsibility to you. The size of the finger normally do not expand that much over a short period of time unless u gained a substantial amount of weight. But on the contrary, u lost weight. This is too much.

hi ladies, frankly i do find tat the quotes tat he gave me is reasonable since i know very well tat the condition of my house is not very good and alot of things have to be done..... and we are very very comfortable working with him, he knows exactly what we wans for our house.

i dunno isit my budget for a house of tat kind of condition is unrealistic also cos i ever showed my dad (prev in construction line) the quotation, he mentioned that the prices are abt there but can try to bargain and see if they can give in a bit more or not.....

anyway yest me and hubby decided that there are certain things tat we find not necessary and can install later so we decide to remove from the quotation, told his fren and he say estimated can save abt 2.5k. was thinking this 2.5k perhaps can go and do my re-wiring lor.
 
I also paid $5k deposit for Fullerton's Grand ballroom..

Yah, no matter how much i show my unhappiness, they still insist to charge me. But its not that i bought and come back months later to alter mah...no choice.

So you went for alteration too or its a customized ring?

who is your coordinator eve? so you are looking at Vanda ballroom for your wedding?

MM wouldnt undergo any renovations for sure. they closed down for a few months and had their major renovation not long ago only.

He ver kiasu...cos our coordinator is a male, he even asked if he's liable for reservist! And if he went on reservist on our AD, what's the back up plan? Will the hotel assign a back up coordinator to us or we get to choose the back up coordinator? Hee hee...
 
But my bf did manage to get our coordinator to give us extra perks like...

Increase in invitation cards
Increase in parking coupons.
Increase in number of people for food tasting
Change from deluxe room to bridal suite
Increase in litres of beer
Cockage waiver...etc

He tried to bargain for two nights stay but not successful....haiz. But they gave us a complimentary dinner for two at their hotel restaurant though...

Hi belle... actually i would prefer to try out the gowns 1st before signing up...But since u already signed up then dont think too much about it... Generally, there are quite a no. of good reviews on GHA thread... And i heard Jesline from Di Gio is very popular among GHA &amp; Di Gio brides... Just chill and enjoy ok...

... Nope, dont think u are behind the timeline.. Now still got over a year away from Nov 07...But as for venue, maybe u should confirm soon cos if u read earlier postings, a few nov BTB got difficulty getting their preferred venue on their preferred AD dates... As for BS, PG, VG, there are still plenty of time to browse and choose... Have fun...

Snowie : Just have fun at SL... Jit is a friendly guy.... and his gowns are gorgeous from what i heard from other BTB...
