hhahah.. 'cheers' juz doesn't haf the same effect as yum seng. i'll b doing away wif the champagne pouring & thus the yum seng on stage. if my frens wanna do the yum-ing while we r taking the pics.. itz fine wif us as well. tink wld b more fun dis way, rather than doing dat on stage.

CCK, if you want to do away with the going around to many tables to take photo thing, what you can do (which is what some of the other couples at the OCC thread are doing) is to just invite your family (and immediate relatives if they aren't too many) up onto the stage and take photos. Might be useful to do so during the yum seng, then the PG can also take everyone saying yum seng too--it might actually look quite grand.

Hui: Hahahaha!!!! Everyone says I look very demure and sweet when they see me. Then after I open my mouth, immediately 180 degrees change in opinion! =P Not too sure about Weihan's boss' name, I think should be correct la...? Things at AH are really bad right now, 5 MSW jumped ship to either go NCSS or change job (1 just returned from NCSS--didn't like it) so they're running on half the manpower, then job market so good now, the social work grads all don't want to go social work liao...

piglet u ok? mense cramp? seen doc? so good, if its my hubby he will said, can be 1hr later after i meet my client? that time i was having very bad headache. Keep vomitting, my first day of work somemore, so half way thru i told my new colleague, sorry, im feeling very terrible and applied for half day lve. On the way out of the office, the sun is so hot, no taxi for a while, keeping calling him, but he off his HP. Luckily managed to get a cab and i msg him why din On HP. When reached clinic, again quickly ran to the toilet and vomit. after seeing doc, finally he call back. He said lunch time, off hp coz dun one others to disturb him. I ask if he can come and fetch me coz there's no bus from that mall to my home, and also quite a dist to walk back. But he said need to meet client but will come back visit me after the meeting. Still im angry, if illness not so bad, i wont bother him, but im feeling very terrible that day and needed him but...

Piglet, drink camomile tea. It helps to reduce the cramp if its menses cramp. Better take care, ur hubby so sweet!

jhoo, my hubby like ur honeymilktea pattern one.. Its just that recently he upset me alot and knowing thta i have alot of discomforts while expecting piglet. He;s just nicer to me. Its good that he talked to piglet if not next time piglet will ignore him!

oh... real life case here. it happened to my fren's fren's sister. one of the 'xiong di' accidentally did stepped on the train of the gown, n the gown slipped! exposing the breast of the bride! she cried n run into her room. no one dare to say a word. my fren said the bride just hide in the room. no one dare to rush them for the good timing anymore as it's too embarassing. but she did come out after much coaxing 2 hours plus later....

Jazlyn: I heard about such things too!!! My PG told me once he was shooting this couple's banquet then the GROOM stepped on the bride's train during march-in. The bride's upper torso got exposed!!! She ran to the room and NEVER came down for her banquet. Aiyo... that's why my PG said MUST GO FOR FINAL fitting...this bride didn't.

Jellyfield, i don't intend to. Both my gowns are quite impossible to "slip off" and expose me. Heh...I will be wearing false lashes on AD but not the drama type used during PS.

Zouk not doing a feature on us but they have requested for our layouts & photos for their archive.

Dory: Ya, my hubby looks very young for his age! Must learn his secret then i can continue looking youthful!

CCK: Thanks...i'm still thinking whether i want to wear a tiara on my AD. I like the princessy look. Real life not princess, so i fantasize. Haha

nubra shud b fine. make sure it stick firmly. n ur maid-of-honor take k of u n tell ppl to stay at least 3 feet away from u!

Hui: Yes, my AD PG told me! He said the whole banquet was just ruined...but it's also the bride's fault cos she refused to go for final fitting.

Oh...i know what you talking about! I think Browhaus also has this service. Then you won't need to use falsies.

Jazlyn: Some of my friends use those type of stick-on bra but they said it's useless. Cos when you start to perspire, then it won't stick anymore!

Oh ya, just realised i forgot to tell everyone that my MTM EG is the peach/pink one....not the red.

my fren said nubra stick on quite well. the most important is made sure u showered, wipe ur breast dry, then stick on. if u sweat before, take a quick shower, as any traces of sweat will reduce its stickiness!

Eeek! What a super-horror story! And mine is a bustier gown with a medium-length train. I think if such a thing happen to me, I will just say "Well, at least now you know that they are the real thing and not tissue paper". If it happens more than once, I'll say "I know I'm a bit of a doormat, but this, sir, is taking it one step too far" XD Because even though it's very embarrassing, but it'll be just worse if I dwell on it and then bring everyone's mood down too. I'll just wear nipple stickers for protection. Anyway, I'm not the easily paiseh type =P

Blur - i saw a no. of nice golden shoes at takashimaya and isetan the other day. Maybe u wanna try. I oso read from another thread tt city plaza oso has alot of shoes selling nice shoes and gowns!

talking about the yum sheng part,here is something to share with u gals...my cousin who jz married few months back was actually change the yum seng with 'cheers'.....but when the emcee anounced it,end up the guess still yum seng...so no choice lo.. i think is kinda norm to yum seng during banquet.. heee...
that wedding banquet was cool as the entertainer were my cousin's frens who sing in ming2 ge1 can1 ting1..where they had all the instruments and great singers on stage. my cousin was singing on stage while playing guitar to show his love to the bride..it was really touching!

i think is natural for a couple who pat toh very long to tie the knot without formal proposal...i have frens tat together since 12 year old...same primary school,sec and uni....
another gf who date for 11years till now jz bought a house together with bf in jb.....think they don have so called proposal too.

mmmmm mine dunno considered proposal or not.... he asked if wanna apply flat together,then sent me a mms with a solitaire accompanied by "canon in D"...i consider it was though not so romantic...the funniest part was,i dreamt of FH proposed by email...wa-ha-ha.... think too much until crazy liao
