jas, i called cpf liao. they said the $$ will take 1-2weeks to be back in cpf acct. moreover MIL wrote appeal letter to waive off hubby's $6k+ interest so that she no need to pay $10k cash to HDB. so also muz wait two weeks for cpf board to reply. therefore they told me to change my appt to end jan to be on the safe side.

at first i changed to 27jan (sat) but hubby said he working on dat day. so now change to 29jan with both of us taking leave.

it's not totally done yet, but I'd say 90%. My MBR wardrobe is fixed up, bedside tables done, kitchen cabinets done, solid surface done, just left a few drawers not completed. Living room and dining room down lights are done, and painting finished. It started on 8 Nov.

drea and pei lin.... me still not that kan cheong now cos the bomb only officially dropped onto my lap last night.... so still cannot be bothered mood... only concern is that need to find the script lor.... anyway hubby will be up on the stage wif me, so think worse come worse i will let him run the show.. heee.... but in a way still abit scared cos talking on the stage in front of so many pple like not ez leh... but where choice not given to me anyway so juz heck it lor... unless anyone wanna volunteer??

jas, my MIL is super modern lor... look at her hair n finger nails know liao. hair dye two colours. fingernails paint black. ven hp strap is billabong. got lotsa angmoh frens somemore, who even sponsor her for holidays. my mum listen liao got a shock. see already more shock. no wonder they say seeing is believing.

My IL house really going to be my hotel.. a place for me to shower & sleep. My hubby everyday also eat maggie mee or tabao home, I'm not going to suffer the same fate as him lor. Next time I'll go back my own home for dinner before I go back there to shower & sleep.

Another question on those traditional things.. regarding the roast pig. When the groom side give us the pig.. bride side got to cut the middle portion & join the head & tail together & wrap with red paper right? Then there's this part, bride's mother need to buy a pair of pants for the groom & place the pants on top of the wrapped pig & return back to groom's place. Is this information correct? I find it darn weird.

hmm...it's like that after ROM one lar. sure got quarrels. Look at the brighter side, dun hire FS master also easier. Nobody to "interfer" with ur reno design.

Oh yeah, remember to bring some salt when u open the door lar. Coz urs is "old" flat, so put some salt at the corners of your rooms. And once u open ur door, try to visit ur new place often

janice, mi n hubby nt really staying together. he stay over at mi place abt thrice weekly. i tink most of the time the quarrel somehow is coz of my MIL. i tink hubby listen too much to MIL liao.

jas, ya... HOT lor. dat time my ex-colleague n neighbour also got a shock after seeing her. no one believes mi when i describe my MIL until they see for themselves. lol
