Hi Sok Fung, I think is ok to have color WG, i think is depend on individual preference. Actually i like one of pink white WG at my BS, but i always want all whites WG so at the end i decided to have white WG.
My FH said that if you have color WG, people will remember more coz its quite unique n diff for the usual brides.

I tink by eating kway teow soup and other veg or soup stuff will help to lose weight. Thats what I have been eating to maintain my weight. Just take less rice and dont eat anytin after 8.30 it shld helps.

In calculating the money we have to fork out for The Premiere..u can say is definately not that worth la..if u wan to sell the hse next time, u may either lose money or sell at the buying price.. conserancy charges is higher then most HDB is charging now..

I also ballot priemer, but whether we can get it is unknown.. dn fret la.. get already then say..then u tink carefully whether u wan it a not.

For me, my choice will be like if there is WIS coming up, i will be going for it.

hi zr, i m very particular abt the hotel ballroom and quality of food, not sure abt you. i have actually shortlisted MM, GPP, Carlton and OH after much research, based on the budget and the number of tables they can accomodate.

I went to recee all the ballrooms, OH and GPP ballrooms are the best, without pillars and high ceiling. But bec OH actually have 3 ballrooms, i only require the smaller ballroom, when they separate the room for me, I feel that its very small and does not look presentable. Carlton offers the lowest and the most comprehensive package, but the ballroom does not really impress me and the lady who serve me seems so impatient. OH the lady even worse, never even come down and I went up to take a look myself, they actually do not allow, but I recognise one of the manager there, who helpd me with my event when we did there, so he allow me to take a quick look as the reception is about the start soon. MM ballroom has 6 pillars, that is really out, coz blockage will be there.

All in all, GPP was the best, the lady who served me was the nicest out of all whom I met and call and she is very professional, I feel. And their package is very comprehensive too, but the price slightly above den my budget. And you girls know what, the bridal suite comes with a outdoor jacuzzi, how romantic right? And also they are able to give me a free room for my solemnization before my AD. The only thing not so good is that the ballroom ailse is very short and they have 2 entrances so they suggest that the groom and bride will come in from different sides. I find it a bit wierd, thats all, but can try to think how to do the march in more. creatively lor. And also, they only do 1 wedding in their hotel, so it is exclusive.

Btw, what are the dates you are looking at?
Actually if you are looking at more tables and have bigger budget, there are many other nice hotels for you to choose. For me, no. of tables is a big problem for me as I m only looking at about 28-35 neither minimum or maximum, thus shortlisting was pretty easy.

Also, for tummy right, the best way will be doing crunches..not sit-ups..and the most impt thing is that when u come up, u MUST breathe out, If u breathe in, you'll actually create a hard tummy.

For face ar, I heard that massaging helps but I tink face quite difficult wan..cos unless u lose weight overall, den will lose a little of face area..
 
For losing weight, the best exercise would be swimming. Oh ya, remember not to stick to one exercise only cos different exercises work out different muscles..also, remember to do stretching after exercising. This will help to make your muscles leaner, otherwise, it will become bulky like that...

Also, try not to go running too much cos it builds the calf a lot. Cycling is very good too..=)
 
drea, cos some ppl dun bother about breathing den anyhow..instead of firming and reducing the tummy..your tummy will just turn from flabby to like harder..but it's still there lor..
 
And when you do crunches, make sure you vary also..meaning instead of always going up, sometimes up and turn right, den turn left. This will work the side muscle. Good for trimming the waist. Crunches reali work but gotta be reali disciplined. I tried doing 100 every night before I sleep for 1 month and can reali feel the difference but recently stopped after I got quite sick den now a little lazy to resume..plus the fact I lost some weight after falling sick, now dun see the need..hee..must be disciplined end of year again....=)
 
I think coloured gowns are ok, as long as the colour is light. Pastel should be the best. Creates a sweet and demure feel alike white gowns

hi Zr, Laguna is a country club right? Been there with my friend to try playing golf once.. Didnt really remember seeing the ballroom.. but the location seem quite inconvenient right esp for some of your guests who do not have their own vehicle...
 
For mine, my PG told us that we can collect the CD sample of low resolution on the next day after the shoot, which we can bring home to select the photos.

jhoo, kway teow soup is 'guo tiao tang', the flat, white rice noodles that we have for fishball noodle soup.

oh ya, share a little tips with u all on dieting which works for me la.

for my dinner, i will usually not eat rice (cos carbo). eat more vegs or meat. small portion. after that rest for an hour then eat fruits.

breakfast and lunch, eat as usual.

exercise twice a week, this is a must. can try to walk more, that does help.

i try that for abt 2 mths, my weight from 50kg went down to 46kg... hee hee
