Paging for watashi, daphne, linda and cottoncandy.
Wondering if any of you have the NLB baby journal ??? Behid the journal, can have FREE Gymboree trial class voucher..then u need not pay $20 trial at all....... the voucher expiry was 31 dec 2007..but can claim that u just receive the book and gymboree will extend for u lei....
If u want, go and grab the bb journal during this weekend bah

ya lor, with string type..cos i find it more secure leh with 1 pcs...cos my flow always bery heavy one, so used stick one always over flow..dun like..

newbbi, u sure u not going to bathe? i buay tahan and bathe everyday but with herbs lah..... imagine if no bath and u latch bb, not hygenic leh... and somemore if you are doing massage, sure have to bathe to remove the herbs one.... and also cos i think sometimes the herbs could be too strong for baby's smelling sense.... so i will carry baby after i bathe if i'm doing massage.....
jenn, andrea too... esp now that she doesn't use pacificer, i replace it with rocking her to sleep so it seems i'm the only one that can rock her to sleep... dunno why.... with my mum, she will sajiao and want to play... then with her daddy, she prob not used to him rocking her... so end up is me lor....

When u discharge from TMC, u can call asih liew... if ur bb is thru natural birth, she will come 2-3 days after u call her, if via c-section, she will come 3weeks later after ur wound heal
So far, all my massage are done in the morning only !!!! And i have wrapped the slimming wrapping for 24 hours before.... ha ha ha. Minimum hours to wrap is 6 hours !!!

newbbi, simi dry clean with herbs for 1st wk?? i dun understand leh...how to dry clean wif herbs??izzit yr MIL dun allow u to bath?? dat time my SIL do confinment at her own mom plc oso din bath f 1 mths my mom still comments how can DUN bath...muz bath using herbs will do...if not having those heavy menses + hot weather realli no gd not to bath.

For the gripe water, yes, i gave to Jayden daily..but is just one teaspoon in 80ml - 100ml water.. so it wouldnt be too sweet for the bb...
Now when he is turning 7mths, i gave him gripe water on alternate days, i oso gave him DELROSA syrup which is rich in vitamin C.

jam- tats wat i tot lor. sekali both got differing views. but my mum is the chin chye kind. i tinkin hw i can tell mil since got maid n my mum, she dun hv to specially take leave to help lor. if she wan, can jus cm over at nite to see bb lor.

My mum was telling me can only bath before 2pm, cannot bath after that liao wor....Got hear b4?Tell u lor, my mum told me something more ridiculous, tell me drink water cannot stand to drink, must sit down to drink..if not urine will also leak!!!..I hear liao blurs, got this type of logic meh, win liao lor..My mum more traditional than my mil lor..Heng its my mil who helping me with e confinement..But I worried that she will come to my hse, saying she wants to help and then might agrue with mil cos of diff views and methods lor..hiaz...

Regards drink water must SIT DOWN, me follow !!! This was a warning from my CL and my mum too..... they said the same thingee too... so in order not to offend both ladies, i just do it lor.
As regards washing the V, u have to wash 3 times a day in order to dry the wound faster !!!!!

The gripe water is to relive the wind of ur bb stomach... and oso help to relive colic if ur bb have. And yes, i am using woodward brand.
For epi... nope, is 6 tubes of epi was insert in me... the thin tube is insert only once at our back by the anesthetist...but the tube is link to a machine whereby each tube of epi can tahan abt 2 - 3 hours.

newbbi, u still use the string pads one ah?? i got one big pack never use leh coz in the end Kk gave mi 2 packs of stick ons so i used. if not, i can pass to u instead.
re: gripe water, i oso give megan that esp when she was colicky during the 2 mths. but we dun give her everyday, i normally mix ard 50ml with 1 tsp gripe water. when she younger, i gave 20-30 ml then let her drink till she dun want.
I normally give after bath den she can sleep better.

newbbi, the wrap i oso put on for 24 hrs..see if ur skin can take it coz might be very itchy. i 'ren' so that can slim down faster. haha! so i didnt bathe during the massage and to wipe myself lots of times.
the herbs one is now in one pack each one. den mi mum will boil one kettle and mix with normal bath water.

then hor, i can only bath alternate days with herbs... no bath in hospital...
but hor, i still use tap water leh, to wash V, and face and brush teeth, also got to wash hands before picking up baby.... and then someitmes i use it to wipe my neck etc....
i think i violate the rule liao

believe it anot, i on 2 days mc again.. sun nite, tummy pain until i nearly rush to call my gynae emergency no.. pain until i cry.. also vomitted coz of e pain.. until today got slight pains.. dr says may be gastric but monitoring coz scared preterm labour.. =(
