U all been to lastyr's bb's fair? Do they sell the bb detergent, shower form, shampoo etc? Let bb use soap or shower form better huh? Cos was tinking since hv the taka vouchers, might as well use it to buy the detergent etc...but price must be cheap lor..
 
newbbi, yup, pampers can buy from medical hall. i thk jenn oso buy from those. I bought mine oso fr medical hall but in serangoon gardens. abt $15 plus.
bb fair have a lot of stuff, got the detergent, shampoo, wipes etc... only i thk not much disc but since got vouchers can use them lor.
u dun intend to use cloth ones rite? den can get the kodomo detergent. nice smell!

hmm, i had been to last year bb's fair... there is disc on pigeon bb detergent , shower form, shampoo.. but the disc not much...but must buy the bottle detergent which come in twin pack.. is much cheaper.. like 2 packs for $19.90 (UP is $11.9 for one pack)

But if u want kodomo, then dun have disc lor.... dun think they have a booth there at all.

There will be booth by avent, pigeon, medala and other pram/car seat brands lah...

ha ha, definitely ur hb have to help u open way..for me, most probably will bring jayden along, hb will carry him while i shop along the way

newbbi, actually at taka fair, things like detergent etc i find about the same price lah... maybe slightly cheaper. i would find that it's more worth getting the big items at the fair... like pump, sterilizer etc.
as for bb shower and shampoo, for newborns, you may want to get those head to toe one. i only separate shampoo and soap when andrea is about 2 mths old. as for soap, depends on how sensitive your bb's skin is. andrea's skin is extreme sensitive so she cannot use those J&J or kodomo shower stuff. I am now using cetaphil for her and shampoo, i'm using sebamed.... at least now her skin is so much better liao.... will be using sebamed bubble bath for andrea after the cetaphil finish. i would think using shower gel / foam would be better than soap cos of hygiene purpose....

Jayden have complete the 6-in 1 jab, 3 jabs no fever..but prior one day before the jap, my mum let jayden drink some bao-sheng water which is cooling ....
 
pierced, so far andrea got no fever from all her jabs... *touch wood*.....
but i got give andrea one dose of the panadol after each jab to prevent it lor.... and monitor for the next 6 hrs and if no fever, i stopped giving the panadol... this one taught by my friend whose pd told her to do that.
 
hee..daphne, thk coz our gals got a lot of hair. i using shampoo and bath separately for megan now too. did u try out CB calendula cream for andrea? was thking is it gd?
 
pierced, i never tried that cream before.... cos that time andrea's skin is so jialat that i use what the pd gave.... the pd prescribe physiogel A1 cream for her but this one cannot be found outside... have to buy from PD... i ever asked the pharmacy is it cos got steriod but they said no, cos the distributorship got deals with the PDs so only PDs carry it. But this cream is very good.... so each time i go see PD, i will buy from them to store.... i have tried sebamed cream and some other creams but no use... only A1 cream so far good for her.

Yap, right now jayden is using kodomo mild shower gel .. when he is NB, we using J&J head to toe .... his skin is not sensitive so is fine to use the above item.
 
jenn, i like the kodomo shower gel cos smell nice but too bad andrea so sensitive... will swtich back to them when andrea's skin stabilize...

jenn, yup i like kodomo's smell, using the shampoo and bath for megan now. so far she still can take it. detergent oso smell very nice, using it now too but i will switch back to pigeon detergent coz the kodomo one cant clean the cloth nappies well, so still have her poo stains on it. so sad...

The 1st time i was in bb fair in feb'07, i bot pigeon detergent too i used it to mass wash passed down bb clothing.. but now i dislike to use as there is NO smell .. ha ha ha... so i bot kodomo and the pigeon detegent is now in storeroom...

Only my mum use the pigeon powder detegent to soak J's clothing ...

i bot a bottle of kodomo for my mum cos she helping me to wash bb clothes in april...her plc there can get more sun lor =D..

anyone encounter after pooing, got a flesh sticking out frm ur A***?cos just now i went bian bian, the flesh came out, i can't push it back, somore its so sore, pain lor..I can't sit on the chair..when I walk, like got something in btw lor...=(...so pain leh...
 
newbbi - tt's piles.. i also kena in my previous preg.. go n tell ur gynae.. get a cream for it.. sometimes it's coz of the weight bearing down due to bb..

pierced - yah lor.. somemore i was packing up to go hm.. thot of lugging marking hm coz isaiah still not well. angree like hell.. just been told meeting pushed back to 330

Ya lor, is piles.... although me never got it before but i know is really painful lor..... so ke lian.... do sit on a cushion if need !!!!
 
newbbi - for me, it wasn't painful.. just tt once i went toilet then got blood so gynae says it's piles.. apparently some ppl get it when preggy..n during delivery, if dun push properly willa also push ut pies..
 
Newbbi, u got piles leh, muz let gynae know if not later on when u deliver, very painful one...

Me more ke lian, didnt sit and push properly, i cracked my tail bone, until now still pain at times... me have been eating cheese at night to increase my calcium intake

Ya meh... and guess what my gyane said to me, he only saw 1 patient in every 10 years who cracked the tail bone during delivery...

I had an x ray done in dec to certify that my tail bone got a chip..... and now if very severe, me just take pain killer lor....

Do take ur supplment especially now u expecting no.2.

When we delivery our no.1, do u know we had lost how much calcium boh... so do take care of our body... so guai guai eat ur supplement lah....
 
caitlyn, muz eat supplements leh, if not our bbs all absorb ours and later on when old liao got prob, esp osteoporosis etc... like wad jenn say later take all our calcium. got a mummy in mi smh thread lost her teeth aft #1 and #2.

ya man, so that's why i very ks now...buy lotsa calcium tabs to eat too, esp since bf.

Jam, coz loss of calcium in the body, coz the bb absorb the mother's calcium, plus if aft that, bf somemore, even worse.
