talking abt eczema - im using Physiogel on adele. PD rec this brand of cream to her so i hv been using it. u can find it in Watsons too.

toilet trained - my MIL started to put her on potty every 0.5hr and tell her to shh shh/put put.. somtimes work sometimes dun work..

When we remove char's diaper and pants, she will make noise lor..She won't wan to stay put on the potty, will tend to stand up leh....

actually got mil or parents to help, easier to toilet train....

inez in school also refuse to take down her diapers. so teacher said dun force, otherwise if they got scare, then will be more diff for them to be trained.
but everyone telling me that inez already 2 year old leow, how come not toilet trained yet, said that too late. so i check with you gals.
 
linda, i think my niece only toilet trained at 3 yrs old leh..... if not on weekends, u let her go diaperless lor..... but if she doesn't want then don't force..... no such thing as too late or wat lah..... each child is different.

janf, i also tried physiogel... the one at guardian doesn't work so PD gave another kind which only sold at PD..... but also doesn't work.... i think we tried at least 5 or 6 different kinds of creams until i fed up liao that time..... even PD say her skin quite jialat....

if they dun want or refuse dun force.
so now at times when inez want to wee wee, she will tell me "mummy inez want she she" but once in awhile lah.

but i dun force her if she dun want loh. just wait till she is ready bah. hee..

i think inez eczema still not that bad. now my concern is more on her dry and scaly skin.
will try this QV then see how.
if no improvement, daphne can i tompang you to help me buy the cream?hee..
 
daphne- oh ya it's renew. maybe i din use alot on him. he kept wantin to scratch aft applyin the moisturizer. so far the shower gel wrks on him.

re toilet training.. i honestly believe kids will train themselves coz isaiah totally refuse to sit on potty or pee anywhere except diaper but we had to let him go diaperless coz of his rashes n he can ctrl up to 4 hrs!! but one day he jsut decided he shall pee in e toilet and no accidents one.. so i think they will train themselves.. no need to rush.. hee.. we were also lazy lah..

i quite free today, hence feeling very tired and sleepy. hahahhah...

inez is reading goldilocks & the three bears, chicken licken and the enormous turnip.
so far these are the 3 books she read before she sleep.
recently just ordered another 6 lady bird series of story book for her.

but for day time when she is at home, she read other books. she choose her own book to read.

i buy titles that i like. hahahha...

i think can give any kind of books that are suitable for their age lah.

Duno le, i saw soem BP, they recommend kids to read the Peter and Jane series..inside the books are simples words...not bery wordly type of books lor...hehe....

Now BP has alot of books le, I also duno which one to buy...But there is one with Letterland book slor...I tink I will get 1 of those..=)...

oic... dunno leh, i just buy what i think is ok.
the lady bird series that i have not many words also, 2 to 3 sentences words are big too.

for me, impt is to get her interested in reading.
even looking at pic is a plus point.
so usually i dun think too much when buying a book. so long as it is suitable for her age group.

ya lor..true lor...cos hor, charlotte like to flip e piuctures so duno go look at the pictures anot..Sometimes i just read and read while she walks ard lor...Cos my fren told me even though they walk ard, they still listening de.. =).

actually what your friend said is also true.
that's what i read in books/magazine.
i actually din do that. kinda lazy lah.
i only put some books made of plastic matterial in her playpen. so whenever she is in the playpen,
she will just take and look/"read".
only recently then i practice reading habit before bed.

Talent Plus is a just a 1.5hours daily playgroup up to 3 year old. After 3 years old, either u want to go to ccc to look for nursery (which chances are low to get a slot) or u have to enroll Char in PCF

Talent Plus is where blue genie's boy is now at, maybe u can also ask her for more information?

Me no hurry for the show lah, u can take ur time cos i have the MP4 format in my hard disk..so I can watch anytime lah (Although I had watched twice)... kee kee

no lah, cos that day after sending me to work, usually he goes ECP to jog/blade or go swimming. but that day he fetch me leow, eat bf then go home. then see the disc take and watch loh. then he find it nice to watch, so got time he just on and watch for awhile.

for ccc, most impt is you and char is comfortable with the environment/teachers/teaching method and its accessable for your mil to help you fetch.
 
hi gals.. me on leave cos aldan's coughin n vomitting. ytd clean his vomit til i buey tahan! thn today duno y becm LS!! watever he eats he wil LS. ytd brot him to doc only gt the vomit n cough mixture. later wan to bring him go see agai. seems his stomach cant take it any food. once in, either wil puke or poo out. haiz!! lidat hw to make sure he does nt go hungry?
 
linda- luckily he's drinkin more water. refused milk but water ok. but hungry hw leh? my hb says gv glucose water. even feed medicine also prob cos he wil vomit all out too =(

oh dear...poor you...Doc got check aldan's mouth for any ulcers etc?

I hv a forum fren, her son just got rosella or something lor..At first PD tot its HFMD cos alot of uclers at the back of the throat, and he has fever,LS lor..Then today hv rashes and fever nv subsides...Worst is his appetite really bad, can't drink water etc so his diaper always dry dry de..hiaz..my fren worried lor...so I ask her to try give him ice cream and gulcose water...

give him glucose water. or cook very watery porridge and let him drink the porridge water.
more filling than just water.

ya darn sian. she is the same age as me but stil single so wil nvr understd hw being a mother is like. say things like my annual leave is finishin soon n if i hv to take unpaid leave, it's subject to approval. sick lah

that time when inez just go ccc then keep falling sick, i keep taking urgent and cc leave.
she ok and can understand.

for inez, hahahah... think my hb also kinda lazy at time and also cos of his work timing and attending school. she dun get to go out every weekends.

Ya lor, not all will understand..Heng my boss have 2 daughters lor =)..

Charlotte also dun get to go out every wkends lor, cos sometimes we busy with our assingments etc...but now she goes kindermusik every sun so at least not so bad =)..
