crystal, since u hv the help of yr mil & dad, maybe can consider going back full time... if workload really too heavy then quit lor...

Linda- he like eat non-stop leh I worry later gt sore throat! He got v bad habit nw when cm to mealtime. Need to bribe him w other foods like biscuits thn he wil eat his proper meal. Haiz~

Newbbi- nt pukin out alrdy but sm times wil stil hv the wana puke feelin.

Crystal- depends on hw many assignmts. He has abt 11-12 students so income is nt bad, esp exam period but hols tone dwn a lot n plus no yr end bonuses so hv to save up more for the sch hol season. Do u need steady income every mth? Thn ur cpf enough to pay for ur hse? Actuali I hv no idea hw much my hb saves. Hahah.. we dun even hv joint acct. for myself I try to save abit but nw find tat it’s difficult esp w pathetic pay n all my exps n gynae fees!

for inez, its a blissing for me lah. cos she eat anything. at home, most of the time she wants to watch her barney when she eats, but can do without also lah. if meals are outside or my gpa or mil house. she can just sit at dining table and finished her meals.
but one thing, she must have meat.
she is a meat eater.

linda- sighz.. recently thn he start hvg this habit. i try to gv him diff kinds of food so he wil get used n dun end up like me fussy eater. if at home stil ok cos can on wheels on bus for him but at my mum/mil's hse thn he wil move ard, v difficult to feed.
hopefully he can be influenced by his frens at cc here. last wk the teacher told me he quietly sat dwn n eat cos all the kids r doing so. i so surprised lor. haha

ting, was actually a sahm for abt 1 wk only, in went back to work for 2 days & went on 4days cruise last wk... enjoyed all the bonding time i had wif ryan..once back to work dun hv much time wif him during wkdays.. i need to 3days OT very wk..

must train aldan to sit down at the table n finish his meal.. i regretted not training ryan on this.. he will want to come down & walk ard or play toys half-way thru his meal..
 
linda, inez such a good gal & so easy on food.. envy..

ryan went on food strike when we were on cruise. refuse to eat rice, bread. even fries & nuggets also reject. survive on junk food & milk..

watashi - i not keen to do full time.. it's really v shiong n i cannot change sch coz i was given a D mah.. so i must stay in this sch for 2 yrs..so i will take NPL for at least 6 mth then it'll free me frm this sch.. haha.. so if i resume full time maybe not this sch liao

ting - wah.. he got 10-11 students PLUS doign flexi adjunct? then i think money is good! hee..

mornin all.. aldan hvg cough n puked out his milk twice last nite. haiz!! last nite also kept coughin in his slp. gona bring him to doc if dun get beta.

jenn- sianz rite... aldan inherited ezcema frm my hb. wil keep scratchin when itchy til it bleeds. both his legs so many ugly marks.

crystal- yup he said u can consider the adjunct thingy too. it's hrly pay but u hv to clock certain hrs every day. thn only go sch when ur lessons start, dun hv to go early tat kind. n can go home once lessons end. but no wrk = n pay. n u can gv tuition as a sideline. but u wil need car to travel so it's more convenient n saves time.

for me is quite lucky that inez can sit and finished her dinner.
i think all these thank to my aunty also lah.
cos she wont allow inez to move ard since young, then at home before she goes ccc, we will strip her in highchair every meal time. after she went ccc, she wanna still on her small stool and eat at the coffee table. and she usually finished her meal in 15mins. so really lucky for us.
even the teacher in ccc also comment that inez eat and drink her milk very fast. always 1st to finished.

oh dear, think weather no good also lah. haze is quite bad. so J with her sensitive airway can fall sick very easily.
try not to bring him outdoor often, maybe it will helps?

ting - isaiah also has eczema.. n his is v jialat.. everyday scratch then sometimes becoz itchy he becomes v v mang zang.. u happen to knw the hrly rate? got cpf? hee.. sorry hor.. coz i thinking of options nw.. n i need the income

janf - shiok hor.. my ILs never ever go away so i never ever get to hide.. sigh.. esp my MIL.. never one day away frm the kids.. both my kids all closer to her.. so sad lor.. always feel like failure mummy
 
Linda- reali must train frm young. I must do tat to my no. 2! Aldan takes forever to finish his milk leh. smtimes up to half an hr n cant even finish 180ml. he likes to slowly take his time n drink.

Must be shiok shiok to be at mum's plc, isnt it? So at night ur hb will come and fetch you home? Is good to have another helper to help around loh.... cos alone take care, want to go to toilet also difficult cos kiddo will be too sticky meh
 
crystal - actually i happi tat my ILs are away coz at least i got more bonding time wif adele keke.. my MIL same as ur MIL.. even when im back frm work in the evening, she oso wana stick to A.. sometimes feel like telling her i need my pte time pls!!

talking abt go toilet! - my ma went mkt this morn so i home alone wif A.. sudd tummyache need to go toilet, bopian hv to carry her put her outside toilet while i keep the toilet door slightly ajar. she juz stare at me muz b wondering wat am i doing haha..
 
haha linda.. i reli hiding.. every sat i make an effort to come back my ma's pl to stay till sun then go home.. my only time wif A.. no choice.. but oso good in the sense tat at least shes familiar wif my pama.. coz i went back to work yday n need to go work tom (got mtg) so my ma will be handling her alone.. at least shes not scared of my ma..

I same like u lor, stripe char to her high chair whenever she needs to hv her meals, sometimes watch barney also put her there..But recently hor, she dun like to be stripe there, so we hv to bluff her by giving her biscuits so let her sit inside...Can tell me how to train to let them sit on the stool? Charlotte also can finish her milk wihthin 5mins and her porridge by 15mins..but I tink dats becos she can't move anywhere so she bo bian got to finish then can come down. I am tinking if let her sit on stool to eat, scare she walks ard also lor..hmm..unless i can bigger stool..

i think because inez is also a very impatient and like to do thing fast fast kind of person, like my aunty who took care of her and myself.
good and bad actually.
she wanna do things fast, but if she cant get it right cos of being impatient, she will throw tantrum.
also for food, since she eat fast, i have to make sure the food is not too hot, otherwise she will burn her lips and tougue.

i actually envy you gals that you all got another person to help take care.
sometimes, i feel really tired taking care of inez myself when hb is working or got class at night.cos rushed back, cook dinner for her, then do the necessary housework, then settle her.
but lucky again for me, inez knows that when she had her dinner and bath, is into the playpen. so when i gg to bath, i will tell her i gg bath, ask her to wait for me.
so i will on the barney for her while she lay in her playpen quietly until i bath come out.

hahah... sometime if i really need to go toilet urgently, i put inez inside the playpen and tell her that i gg to toilet ask her wait for me.
but sometimes, she refuses so i told her to play at her play mat and wait for me, cannot move.

i din train inez to sit on the stool leh.
she herself wanna sit. so we just let her be.
so she when we said mum mum loh, then she will take her chair, sit there and wait.
she will also do her colouring and there.
all these maybe in school they have their own chair, so she used to it bah.

she is not that obedient lah.
at times she will stay and play there. cos i tell her, if she moves then she gotta go inside the playpen.
but if i really need to bath, i will put her in the playpen no matter she like or dun like.

for sitting on the stool so far, i have no problem with inez. she will always finished her food before she get up from her stool.

then bath, i also used those for sensitive and scaly skin ones.
was using cetapil for quite a while then when to this shop, the salesgal recomend this Vit E kind of shower. so i buy and try.

so whenever my hb ard, i will ask him entertain inez while i do the housework and all.
then ask him to settle inez then i can go bath and finshed up the rest of the housework.

linda, inez got bad eczema and dry skin? you may want to try this moisturizer that i'm currently using on andrea..... i used their bb shower too and andrea's eczema has been fully under control since.... remember she got very bad skin problem when she was very young? then i started her on those shower gel and lotion. The brand is Melaleucca. They have outlets in the East, West and one at winland House. Need to join member to enjoy some disc but non-members can also buy. Cos my mum join (due to my aunt) and so she bot that and let Andrea try. Seems to work. Then I recommend to my colleague whose son got very serious skin allergy until the feet always bleed and she told me it works too.... if you keen, go to the one at Winsland house and take a look lor. I think some of you know this brand before and i do highly recommend the bb shower gel.
 
linda, i half train andrea on toilet liao but cos me still need to go work and maid no time to keep training her and my mum now also a bit hong sim liao...... always go out so no time to train andrea.... so i'll be using my maternity leave time to fully train her lor..... sometimes i will not let her wear diapers in the morning / afternoon and keep reminding her to pee / poo in the potty. sometimes work but sometimes doesn't. But so far, i think the poo works better but if she is in the mid of playing or too excited about certain things, then she will forget that she needs to tell me that she wanna poo and will poo in the diapers.... but if without so far, no such incident....
 
newbbi- bo bian lor. i scare he wil knock n fall or sth hapen to him while watchin cos smtimes he wil move ard n nt sit quietly n watch. gt once i left him playin in his ball hse while i poo thn halfway he cried so loudly, i gt a shock n quickly rushed out. he kana trapped in the ball hse n cant get out. aiyooo

linda- i tot of buyin sebamed to try.. heard cetaphil nt bad too.
ya, at least hb ard, he can entertain them for awhile while i do my things in peace!

inez one is more on dry skin. eczema she kinda dun have leow.

how much is the bb shower gel?
cos i also not sure if this scaly dry skin can cure a completely a not. cos i inherite from my mum then inez inherite from me.
mine recover when once i had very bad rashes and when to see doc at National skin centre then at the same time see for my dry scaly skin, took medicine and was asked to apply and bath with cetepil. fully recover abt 3 year times with constant applying of cream at every bath.
then now kinda return. cos when i was preg, i lazy to apply the cream till now i only apply when gg out. so coming back again.

i wanna train inez during weekends when she at home, but i always forgot to take down her diaper. then if hb not ard, i gotta do housework and cook and all, then forgot to ask he go wee wee and she will wee on the floor, make me more busy.
in school she refuse to take down diaper according to the teacher.
last week, inez herself tell me she want wee wee, pull down her pants and diaper and go potty to wee, but after awhile she forgot, then wee on the floor.
 
ting, u using renew now? the bb shower gel i'm using for andrea is koala pals. they only have one toddler shower gel leh...
as for the moisturizer, what you can do is try what my colleague did... she bot the vit e oil in pharmacy, put on the affected area then use renew cream to lather / moisturize it daily.... she is very generous with the cream.... really lather on it lor.... then andrea's leg also on off still got eczema and dry so i also lather a lot on her... now she will do it herself sometimes....
for andrea she has tried cetaphil, QV and all doesn't work on her.... i even bot her the aderma (or something like that) from pharmacy... very exp but also doesn't work on her.... that time i have to rely on the steroid cream from PD but no good if long term usage so i tried the mela brand and so far, been using it for more than 1 yr liao....
linda, u gotta apply cream every night one... now i also got dry legs and when i remember i do apply lah but have to be daily lor... to see the effect.

actually cetepil was not bad. but the salegal that intro me the vit e shower, told me that it will have drying effect if used too freq.

for inez, i apply for her at every bath. if i forgot, she will remind me.

for myself, i apply cream everyday in the morning before gg to work or if weekends, i apply only when i gg out... hahaha..
last time before preg,
i faithfully apply after every bath.
now only morning... at night din apply leow.
