ya loh, last time no kid, we can go short holiday twice a year, now have to keep for unforseen days.

AL a lot... ok lah.
cos start start with 15 days, then when we are into 6th year, clerks level get 7 days extra, so got 22 days. then if any PH fall on saturday, we get extra 1 day.
this year got 2 PH falls on saturday mah.
so my AL = 22 + 2 + 6 (CCL) = 30 days.
i worked here for 9 years leow.
cant believe i survived here so long with a under paid salary. hahahaha...

my office benefit is considering not bad. but salary wise, compared to market rate, is really under paid. even managers also complaining that their salary is like a AM or senior officer pay.
dunno how true lah.
but i got check market rate for what i am doing, the salary is abt 500 to 1k more than what i am getting loh.

the reason for me to stay on is because of hte flexiblity and also my boss is quite understand and when i take urgent leve to take care of inez, she also ok.
if i need to leave a bit early or report work a bit late she also close 1 eye.
 
jenn- come bk wrk today thn tmr fri le! hehe.. i lookin fwd to nxt wk cos mon is staff trg but i stil comin to wrk to take care of aldan cos all the teachers gg trg thn tues teachers day ctr closed so i gt extra day off =D

but no choice lah. if i din have kids, i would have change job leow.
but now that with inez and gotta rush to ccc to fetch her, i cant afford to change to a new job.
i need the flexibility that i have now.

all,
remember i told you gal abt my muslim coll who married 2 mths then preg.
last friday when to see dr caroline, was told that baby not right,
monday called her boss and told the boss that baby no heartbeat.
tue went to "take out" leow.
actually last thursday before she is due for check up she announce to everyone that she is 2 mths preg then become bad news.
dunno is it becos the baby pangtang....
very sad loh.

linda- oh ya u reminded me, children's day i also off thn. keke... the ctr also closed on certan days for staff trg. i used to take leave to take care of aldan at home n realise like so wasted. so decide to cm wrk n take care of him instead. hahha... i put the playpen nxt to me while i wrk but this aldan wun stay in there for too long so in the end, i go up n play w him =D
oh dear... most afraid is such things wil hapen. tats y ppl usu wait til 3mths thn say... tat time i hvnt see heartbeat also v worried! ur coli stil young rite, can alwz try again =)

newbbi- no leh... jus hope this ms phase wil pass soon! but everyone ard me say gal cos i look so round. hahahha

she is young, only 25. but still very sad loh.
cos the hb was so happy. further more the sis also preg just 1 mth before her. so i suppose if she see the sis tummy growing and hers gone, sure very sad.

ya... think MYCD allows 5.5 days of closure for all ccc.
in 26 Nov and 30 Nov, inez school also closed for K2 graduation and spring cleaning.

wow, best ting is able to work and see aldan hor..but the salary system not very good hor... Hmm, dat time when i expecting charlotte, also round round, frm my back, can't see my waist lor..hehe...everywhere swollen lor..

the acc ppl can enjoy 20% disc so i tot not a bad idea aft all only pay for hb. the promo is fr 31st aug-6 sep so not just 1sep itself.

linda- yup can close for 5.5 days. but only teachers n chn day whole ctr closed. other days we stil operate but no chn here.

newbbi- yup! only thing is pay darn low lor. but cant hv the best of both worlds.

pierced- 20% is nt bad! hv decided to go nite safari! hehe

I tot of nite safari but megan slp so early and nite safari cant see much leh. so trying out the zoo first with the kids rainforest

inez also very into ELMO, dunno why also.

maybe you go kiddy palace see have a not or go to riverale mall, the shop next to the bread shop they sell alot children stuff

lidna- i stil can fit in my normal jeans but gettin tighter liao so gona meet up w my fren soon to take bk my maternity clothes. mine is cos of 1st preg tummy din reali go dwn n nw preg again so looks much bigger!! smtimes i see liao also shocked! haha

pierced- yahor megan slp early. this aldan no problem cos he slp so late! haha.. .i saw the halloween horrors happenin at nite safari.. looks darn scary lor. brot aldan to zoo in apr thn national day went bird prk le

Oh is it? J very siao over ELMO nowdays, wake up must see ELMO DVD, come back must see ELMO DVD, even drink milk must also see ... faintz... and now me want to find a ELMO school bag..... xian meh...so hard to find one....

The shop @ rivervale mall dun sell... only one year ago they have elmo bag.

But just be aware that kids will have change of heart easily for their favourite cartoon character loh... J's last time was mickey, then thomas and now ELMO........

inez also same, if weekends, open eyes only, will fuss then tell us she want to go outside watch barney.
so she will usually lay on her mat and watch her barney quietly.

back from school also barney, eat dinner also barney, before sleep also barney.
sometimes, i can repeat the same barney disc for 5 times loh.
and she can still watch. *faint*

oic... maybe check online?

oh, recently happy to see HI 5 on tv, then i buy huggies pull up pants got free DVD, at time, she will ask for HI 5.
 
megan likes elmo too but not so siao. she oso likes mickey mouse but only the hotdog song at the end. she will call him 'hotdog hotdog'.
she watched barney too but oso for the song only. she prefers only the music in the cartoons.

now her favourite is the SCV new Cbeebies channel, in the night garden

so i dun really buy any cartoon character stuff yet.
 
jenn- i need to buy a bag for him soon but cant seem to find any wheels on bus one. hahah... maybe get barney. smtimes wil on barney for him too for a change but he stil prefers the bus!
linda- smtimes i wonder wats w this barney cos so many kids crazy over it! haha.. my bil calls it the gay purple dinosaur. hahhha

I tink kids love purple leh..charlotte likes barney and wheels on e bus, she will clap her hands when i on it..then will shake her bumbum when music starts, then at times we need to do tings, just on for her, she will sit in one conrer on the floor to watch with a cushion behind her..As if her throne like that lor..so funny..

Last time i also dun like Barney, but when i watch with char, i find it quite ok, lots of songs, easier to catch de...sometimes i will sing for char also, then she pat e floor and dance..hee

so i can do my housework or do my cooking.

actually hor, i also dun understand y, so many kids are crazy over the purple dino. initially before having inez i also dun like barney, i call him the silly purple dino then my coll gave me one to let inez watch,subsequently, i start to like barney and friends leow.
then songs are quite educational lah. and nice to sing.
even our car, i purposely buy the music cd to play for inez. so both me and hb can sing almost all of the barney songs leow.

with the cd, she usually make no noise and sit still and enjoy her songs.
 
newbbi, ting, actually the prog is quiteeducational with lots of songs but dunno why cant they make the dino a bit nicer-lookin??

newbbi, actually now that char 1 yr old, shld be able to take anything, even cod liver oil. i knw my MIL gives it to my niece now that she's 1

newbbi- aldan also wil dance to the song of wheels on the bus. hahah

linda- same here. hahha.. i jus on the vcd for aldan n he literally can sit stil n watch for tat 20mins or so! feed him the easiest also. he can finish 2 bowls of porridge v fast while watchin the show.

actually inez now prefer Baby Bop (the green gal dino) more than barney.
but she will still shouted BARNEY at the start when thebarney song starts.

i have so many disc at home. some are pass down from my aunty some i buy, some my friend burn for me.
i think i have at least 20 barney disc.

inez not taking the cod oil, she cant take. cos when she is still under my aunty care, we gave her, but after that my aunty said that her tummy like got a lot of wind and bloated.
so we stop. now giving her DHA pills from GNC and Cod Fish tablet i bot from the medical hall at rivervale mall. also giving her multivits from GNC.

hee.. the green one is Baby Bop, Yellow one is the brother, called BJ.
they got one cousin, orange colour one, called Riff, its a new character, seldom appear, unless you watch new release disc.
older disc dun have his face.
hahahaha... most of the kids in the show i also know their names.

Jayden same as Inez, cannot take cod oil..once he take, his cough will come back...so i also stopped... now he is on TMC (Blended Dong cong cao with others)..just a small pint every morning...
 
newbbi, megan not on cod liver oil. so far the only additional things i give her is the colustrum. have been giving her since she was 8-9 mths aft i stopped bfg her. now still continue.

thk no need to give too many additional vit or supplements yet as long as char is eating healthy and growing ok. unless she's not eating anything else besides junk fd etc..

agreed lor =)..tks for the advise..So far char is ok, likes her food but recently abit picky liao, dun like papaya, peach, last time she loves it....

hahah... i think the orange one look a bit more ugly than barney, baby bop and BJ bah.

for food, inez also like char certain food she like in the past can suddenly reject.
but i will usually eat for her to see and tell her its yummy, then she will try to eat again.
this is the way to get inez to eat what she reject. hahah...
