For AD photography, u have to decide what style u want. conventional, journalistic or both. Different photographers give you different styles so best is to see their portfolio, chat to them to see if can "click".
I just finalise my AD photographer and I'm so glad that at least I manage to settle 1 item. now still left BS and venue that's more urgent.

hi ladies, happy vday, at our new house now hehheee...
brambles, coz we strategised with our photographer the weekend before our PS, and discuss and decide on the places to go. the venues are all quite close to each other so that we can save the time travelling, did u notice?
and on that day, robin keep wanting to stop at this place and that place to take the photos there...hehehe...so some locations is he suggested one. these are not really in these rejected pics. yes i do them all in one day. the cheongsam one was actually at a temple a few units down the road from robin's studio. so it's considered "indoors". we set off at 2pm and took until 6pm. robin commented that i was still so energectic jumping up and down hehehee....but that was coz i was so grateful for the weather that day, coz for the past few days it was raining so temperamentally.

ya..i can understand how u r feelin right now.....one mth ago...i oso very kan chiong....coz i only chose my wedding in Dec 03...and wedding had to be on Oct 04.....consider very rush for us.....
initially i selected 30 oct....but think this date very very popular...so cant find a venue for banquet.....lucky i still have some dates to chose....end up i selected 31th instead of 30th....
i din go arnd looking for bridal shop...just went to GHA in Tampines (since it so near my hse) and sign up the packages dat day.......so at least one was settled.....for venue.....the husband flipping thru magz and notice the hotel pixs (poolside) is quite nice....so just went down to take a look b4 cny and fall in love with the place....so after cny we went down to place deposit also....ha ha......for me is chop chop kind....no point giving urself too many choices....it will give u more headaches lor......just shortlist a few place and visit....as for hotel....u call first and get the quotation b4 going down so it will save u time....

things going fine. now busy wif reno lor. today went up to see my hse, contractor had completed all the flooring and had clear debris as well as clean up our hse.........very excited abt it.
i havent been doing anything for my wedding. i have type out a spreadsheet on things to buy, that's all.

I'd think the sword party goes something like this - pastor announces bride to march in, sword party marches in slowly, bride comes in with dad, dad hands bride to groom, pastor commences service. at this pt, the sword party falls out quietly. then just b4 the groom and bride walks down the aisle as husband & wife, the sword party will march in again (quickly this time), fall into position then bride and groom walks past them...
but of cos got a lot of different variations one la... i once saw a couple who did the sword thingy only after they walked out of the sanctuary, at the steps of the main entrance... so i guess it's really up to the individual...
BTW, did you managed to surprise hubby with your gift?

ya, me and hubby had same sentiments too... to us, we're really considered married only after the church ceremony... so the ROM was really more so for the flat... what we did was quite similar to yours too.. the house is now vacant, and we'll move in only after Oct.. but one good thing is that i dun have to worry abt the house or reno now... concentrate purely on the big day... !

fairymoss : I didn't bring Kua to outdoor shoot cos my evening gown is right red colour as well. I was wearing my wedding gown for outdoor, it was super troublesome as the floor was wet. My Sis helped me with holding my gown and the long train. Afterall grew up with Sis, not shy lah I had wedding gown for outdoor only, changed hairstyle when outdoor though

Do u all eat while taking pics outside or just eat bread? otherwise cannot tahan hor..so long the shoot. what i'm afraid is go those ulu places, or those beaches where the toilets very dirty one, then it would be difficult to go toilet lor, and hubby cannot go in with me, and my designer is a guy!! aiyoh...siao liao...

It's monday morning again. *sign* So tired, dun want to wake up today.
Din do much on V-day, guess lao fu lao qi liao. But did give something to hubby, a very practical stuff, and only my hubby would like it. Say it out here hah, u gals will peng! hahaha...
Went shopping around for frige and washing machine yesterday, since these two are the confirmed buy before we can live in the hse. The rest can still slowly shop after wedding if really no time. Was quite pleased with LG brand, value and function-wise, anyone here got any comment on LG stuff? The washing machine got some new technic that washes like a front-load one and same time, save water and energy.

Hehe, we've been sleeping on our new bed for months now. We were told that our "an chuang" will be my Hubby changing the bedsheet and shifting the bed a bit (action action). That's all, very simple one cos both sets of parents not pang-dang. You might wanna check with your both sets of parents?
