had my wisdom tooth extracted on mon...now face still swollen, had to change antibiotics and take anti-inflamatory medicine. so can guess wat i did for past few days right?? hahaha...stayed home, watched tv and cook, cook, cook....so far only eating porridge.
hayashi, for working hrs, depends on project, earliest is 7am, got nite shift occasionaly. long term means at least couple of yrs tho, how?
for chicken soup, i used those stainless steel pot cos still yet to get double-boiler, dun think will get slow cooker cos reviews not so good, and so ex...

Hospitals reported a spurt in complaints of respiratory and eye ailments from the dust and smoke-laden white haze, which hung over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's largest city, and seven othertowns.
A Department of Environment statement said air quality in the eight places was unhealthy, one step short of hazardous.
"We are very concerned. I'm worried that the air pollution index is worse than we think," said Gurmit Singh, who heads a non government environment watchdog.
The air quality in Port Klang near Kuala Lumpur dipped to hazardous level, the Star newspaper said in its short text message service sent over cellular phones. The Department of Environment, however, refused to confirm the report.
The haze wrapping tropical Kuala Lumpur resembled fog in a European city on a wintry morning but the hot and humid outdoors belied the impression. The visibility at Kuala Lumpur International Airport fell to 1 kilometer but no flights were affected.
An emergency may be declared if the air quality becomes hazardous, Uttusan Malaysia newspaper reported. That would entail closing schools and shortening work hours to reduce people's exposure to pollution.
Education Minister Hishamuddin Hussein has already given school authorities the power to decide if they want to suspend classes immediately.
"They should consider health, safety and surroundingconditions. They should not hesitate to make a decision," he told reporters. (*)

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.
I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.
I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner." There would have been more "I love you's." More "I'm sorry's."

I add abit of the wolfberry,the pao shen,the bai mu er,or hei mu er and sometimes the dai gui then abit of the yomeishu to the chicken.....Very good for women in confinement....
