10 Good Beauty Salons to recommend

I went to use to go to othe beautians but has switched to this one as I find the equipment used are more updated and of medicated grade.

My gf has been their customer for years but switch to Central outlet as they are open on weekend which both of us prefer. Desire Aesthetics at THE CENTRAL on the 2nd flr.

Anyone try facial @ VEDURE mediboutique ? heard tat their treatment is very good ? i happen to see them in the icompare website .. pls feedback thks
 
I go to Beyond Beauty (Park Mall branch). They also have branch at Orchard Central, Raffles Place and East Coast. Their price is quite reasonable (On average, ~$100per treatment). I have no problem making appointments (unlike some which are short-handed and are difficult to do booking). My beautician is good, very detailed, and not pushy. I don't quite like their sales person though, cos she's kind of pushy. But if I'm not interested, I'll just be firm and say NO. So far, I'm happy to see my face getting better. I give them a score 8 upon 10.
 
i'm d cust there, been wif them since last yr feb for facelift facial, juz trying to get ready for wedding. i like their service over there. the consultant xplained to me on usually wat kind of treatments bride-to-be would wanna do in preparation for the wedding. but luckily she wasnt pushy at all.. haha...
i think u shld try their lifting facial la. I love it! I did it a day prior to my photo shooting too.. Wow lor.. I think my face look slimmer and radiance.
 
Actually if u think abt it the most important part of getting facials is to maintain right?

and wat better way to maintain what shines u then keeping ur inner health in tip top condition.

after consulting wif many facials i decided to try supplements once and for all, but i did my reseach well cause im a science student and now i dont have so much facial problems, my skin shines and i have never been happier! so if u need more info do let me noe.
 
Hey Rachel_Ng, my colleague introduced me to Vedure MediBoutique last year and since then I have been going there regularly.

Can vouch for their treatments and service. My skin really improve significantly. My friends and even my SO commented I look much better nowadays.

gosh the icompare website offer is really very cheap... i didnt even know got such thing. heard they won many awards and are very professonal so i think its worth giving it a shot!

I have a homebased beautician at Bukit Panjang, i will say the price from home cheaper, but if i wan to pamper myself i go to those nice beauty place which cost more.

I a regular at clarins, good serive..nice place..not pushy..but treatment time very short.

I have oso booked trial facial with Vedure Mediboutique and Beyond Beauty.

thanks for the good recommendation at true shape. I had a trial for their IPL face (btw it costs only $38!), and is very pleased with their services and treatment effectiveness! highly recommended!
 
I went for the trial at true shape but the effect was not good. My face was very red after the facial and the pimple mark became more obvious.

I had my facial done at Vedure in a nice and cosy room. As usual they do push the products but not hard sell type. Very comfortable thru out the facial but pricey. Thumbs up if you can afford in the long run. Results on face - clear and glow. Pocket - Burn $180+ for one treatment
 
I have my facial done by a very experienced (more than 20 years) facial therapist at her house. She has the most up-to-date equipments and technologies for facial. She use to work for Expression for many years. I've been going to her for facial since I was 17. I teach at a local polytechnic, and some of my students mistook me as a student. The last semester, I was assigned to teach a first year module, and was standing outside a lecture room waiting for the previous lecturer to complete his lesson. Another girl was standing near me, and introduce herself to me, asking me which sec. sch I was from etc. I was really flattered! Young people think I am young! Thank God that I get to know her; the past 8.5 years of facial really paid off! Her charges are very reasonable. But it is important to book with her early as she has a lot of clients, mostly tai-tais, home makers, and professionals. She is in her 50s, but look like in her late thirties or early forties. I hope I can be like that in the future!

Just want to share my experience with Beauty Express. Signed up for their package on promotion for $3200+ for 10 sessions with cromolite that is supposed to lighten pigmentation. Had 4 sessions so far. Second session there was slight burning sensation and redness so I disregarded it. 4th session had a burn during the session with a 1.5cm scab on my chin that lasted more than 1 week. Went back to cancel package and get refund for unused sessions. After going there twice (they had to see the scab to believe it) and getting told it's such a minor scar (!) they refunded me less than half the unused amount. Really bad feeling after that.
 
I went to Beauty Express to check out their promo package. However, this consultant who appeared to be rather "manly" claimed that my facial condition will deteriote further if i dont sign up with them, whereby i only have eye bag problem, no acne whatsoever. And the package is $12,888 for 20 sessions and i will need at least 40 sessions before i can see any improvement!!

Best of all, she actually showed me existing customers particulars to prove that they have willing customers folking out these amount of $$, no P&C at all..

Wow these salons charges ridiculous prices...And no such thing as don't sign you will get worse. Please don't sign with them.

I seriously recommend my facial therapist, as I said previously, she works for Expression for more than 20 years before having her home-based facial center. And she never hardsell at all. Her products are from famous facial lines like Decleor, Darphin etc.

I have been with her for many years (more than 8 years), and think that its time I share her with the world ;)
 
Forgot to add: She was one of the manager before she left, and thats because she is so popular with her clients till she is confident that when she leaves the company, her homebased facial can sustain.
You go to facial salons, they have random therapist to do for you unless you fixed one. The reason why she is so popular is her good working attitude and excellent skills. She is also generous! For e.g. last Christmas, she gave me and my friend (both of us are long-time customers) facial products from Decleor -- full size -- for free. So definitely with her, I will not be even bother to look for others.

Just came back from my facial today. Going to be bride in june so faster go for more facial sessions again.

Just to share, i go for facial in salon at Peninsular Plaza,city hall. Not bad, i have been with them since last yr. I started becoz of my super dark eye rings (upper and lower eye lids!)

I go there for facial (cleanse, 2 masks, massage gel, fruit peel, milk, ampoule, etc) + eye treatments (with mask) + DIAMOND PEEL!! I paid promotional price, $640 for 6+1 sessions. Think it is quite reasonable. Auntie will analyze use products according to your skin types.

Now my eye rings and complexion improved. hee..so happy. =)

BTW, she just told me the promotion is up again.

Yes, the shop have cheaper package, without eye treatment.

Like my htb bought a facial package with diamond peel at $320 for 5 sessions. (4+1)

I think the facial auntie customize the package according to your needs. She is very friendly, just discuss with her.

Sorry I did not know that they are several questions pertaining to my facial therapist services.

First, I do not think she is expensive at all. She is using Decleor mainly, which is a trusted brand for many many years. I don't really trust facial therapist with cheap facial products; after all, we all know it is expensive to produce and research skincare. But it is just my personal opinion

Its our face this products are going into! I have been with her for about coming 9 years. So she still charged me about the same rate, which is really affordable. I can't really say cos I am not sure how much she is charging now for new clients. But definitely more than 60% or more off market rate. You just go to her and see for yourself. But then she is really quite packed with her schedule, so best to call early.

Second, she uses good and reputable products, equipments, everything, and aromatherapy with soft music. You feel like you are in a spa session there.

Third, she is based in Toa Payoh. And she never ever hardsell at all. Best, she sometimes give me free Decleor samples and even full size one as christmas present, and you guys know Decleor is rather expensive. But I guess its because I have been with her for so long that she give me.

I would like to share my experience in a beauty salon near Khitab mrt with all of you. The beauticians are skillful and friendly. The cost of the package is reasonable and the environment is consider good. I found this salon in one of forum and decided to make a try. I'm pleased with their services and cost. They are very patient and did not push me of buying things. Suprising, they provided me some samples to try first... dermalogica products. I'm really expressed by their services and patient.

Oh dear! I just saw the $12,888 post! Its insane!

I would like to recommend my facial place. Its called Porcelain, The Face Spa near Outram MRT. I strongly recommend them because I was introduced to them a couple of months before my wedding when my biggest trouble was my skin.

I had dark spots, uneven skin with acne and I can never leave home without make up. My sister in law recommended me to Porcelain after seeing their ads and trying their trial. I love their facials. There was so much difference after 1 trial session and the therapist is extremely experienced.

My skin on my wedding day (after 8 treatments), was so smooth and I barely had to put foundation. They have been one of the biggest "saviours" of my wedding and that's why I am recommending them! And their package is only $3,800, with one set of products worth $800.

Very reasonable price in exchange for good skin.

Saw this thread and wish to contribute.. i signed up for beauty express facial package at $288.. Always take the icy cool treatment becos of my acne problems. Initially signed up for 30 sessions.. but after completing 10 sessions, i see a vast improvement in my condition.. so decided to sign up for another 50 sessions. hehehe... i think what i like best is that they never hardsell me more things.

Previously before signing up with beauty express,i signed up with Giman robinsons near my office. Experience was terrible because once i like down, they don't start the facial. Instead, they keep critising my skin and hardsell me products. They even wanna me to take other facials which will deduct more credits. Can't even relax for whole treatment..
