I've been wearing my ring for about 4 years and only done it once. Haha. I think after awhile, I'm ok with it and start to like the patina feel. Most places will give free polishing and plating. Where did you get your ring from?

The scope images look great to me. Its of brellia quality with minimal light leakages and symmetrical arrows. From my understanding the leakages is not meant to be symmetrical. Don't worry la. their diamond has the strictest criteria :D

I m provided with: 2 free resizing 2 free polishing/replating 1 engraving For cleaning of ring, they told me I can do it myself. Just using a toothbrush and some soap will do.

Have you decided on the shape of the diamond? For me, I have bought a cushion cut (squarish type), so I can only choose a 4 prongs.

Prongs are metal securing the diamond. Can't use super glue... :p

Is it the right one? I feel the right one brighter... :D

For me, i like the first image more (Flat top). Personal preference.

That was what I have gone through in my diamond selection at jannpaul. They explained to me the HCA and show me all the scopes to analyse the cutting. For customization, I believe they do that too as I saw some drawings by them at some blogs but not really sure about the process as I chose...

You mean the hearts and arrows? Yup. It comes with the traditional round shape and recently from JannPaul fb page I saw the octagon shape which also has the Hearts and arrows. My first time seeing such a unique shape for diamonds. Share with you the video.

I would say choosing a ring is alot harder than diamond as every person has different preference. Maybe you would want to try to find out from her? As for platinum and white gold, I understand that both looks the same when they are "new" and usually platinum is more costly than white gold. For...
