Hm... Does Kahtib consider in the west? hmm..
I constantly visit that beauty salon... Not bad... Even it is those neighbourhood type... I like the lady boss cuz won't push u to buy things... I hate being PUSHED!!
Oh ya... Constantly gt promotion package and discounts too! you can hve a try!
Take train till kahtib mrt... Then, eh... I didn't really notice the full name... But I know it is called Opera Beauty.... House? Cottage? Can't remember which one... hehe!

You can try Ucara. They got a few branches. I have been going for my facial since poly times till now. Tink trial they charging only $39? Then depends on ur face condition etc..hope it helps.

I am currently using princessbeauty at tanjong pagar plaza but the beautician branch out to another location at whampoa thus making it inaccessible for me. I am now seeking badly for an ideal beautician who is quiet, no hard sell and most importantly, with good skills at reasonable rate located at west side too!

I have also been to Ucara for many times at Jurong also since poly days. But sadly i have just moved and the other branch is not as enjoyable (the facial, massage, etc) than the jurong branch.
If you going to Jurong Branch, you can try candice or felicity, both are qutie good. My regular is felicity.

I tried their demobrasion & LED for the first time... all these new technologies, not really fantastic. Dun feel any effect but maybe I only go once. They are not pushy but I bought a product that help to loosen black heads from them.
I still prefer extraction and cold masks although they say demo is better for me as I dun have pimples. Consutant said normal facial is gd enuff for me. One more visit to go... let's see how.

the reason for slightly high price is due to nature of treatments. Liansy can do an enzyme peeling type of treatment, or a charcoal mask treatment, etc depending on ur skin condition on tt day. facial usually lasts abt 1.5 to 2 hrs cos she'll do everything properly. =)

Upon the above posts recommendation, tried out the Opera Beauty facial at Khatib. Really not bad.
They are using dermological products, and the extraction skills by Gin is fantastic! Virtually painless and thorough. I didn't know it was possible to extract using purely hands. All the past facialists I went to uses the metal extractor which is more painful and my face comes out red n swollen for at least 2 days after. But by hand at Opera, the only red parts on my face are the pin dots she had pricked to extract out those white/black heads.
Overall, pretty good experience. The lady boss did recommend a few products and packages to me, but not pushy on that. Only negative thing is the facial pricing can be quite steep for the location. From $48-$198, depending on the types of facial you want to do. She had recommended either the $108(replenishing treatment) or $188 (advanced multi vitamin treatment) package to me as I have adult acne and acne scars. Besides, the eye mask is charged separately at $48 each time. Therefore, a basic facial with eye mask will cost at least $160 for me each time, which I find a bit steep to afford at this time with my upcoming marriage expenses. I'll be looking for a facial + eye mask for not more than $100.
But it's worth considering for those who's purse strings are not that tight.

hi guys you cant imagine how excited i was to see this thread, this is what i am looking for. I'll be moving to the west in feb & looking for facial place in the west using dermalogical product. I'm a die hard fan, been using it for 2 years now at my salon in bedok, i'm sure there are some in jurong i just need to find it.
I'll be trying beauty cottage though its not dermalogical product,i'm open to any as long its good service & worth the bucks. will be back for more.
