Hello babes!

I'll be holding my wedding lunch + gate crash + tea ceremony all at the hotel.
Can anybody share their AD schedule?

Many thanks! :D

Same same!! Do you have solemnization in? This is my schedule. Do you have a specific timing to follow? For me, not so strict. But some dialects, they are quite particular about the timing.

7am: Make-up and hair for bride, sisters and mothers (Check with your make up artist on how long you need. For the sisters/mothers, get additional people to do make-up)
9-9.45am: Gate-crash (again, it depends on how many activities you have, how many brothers etc. I only have 3 - suan tian ku la, 10 commandants, dance item. Eat tangyuan.
9.45 - 10am: Movement time, some photography
10.00-11.30am: Solemnization, first round of tea ceremony (let your hotel know, they will prepare the teapot set and tea). One of my friend decided to do the tea ceremony in the bridal suite, but I dont like the idea. It's like my personal space, and it's too crowded so I would prefer to do it in the function room.
11.30-12.30pm: Touch-up, prep
12.30-1pm: Reception, pre-lunch
1pm: Lunch begins
After 2 or 3rd course: Change
3.30-4pm: Farewell, get ready for 2nd round of tea ceremony
4-5pm: Some final photography moments

- Must also see how many hours of photography you have. If you have lesser than 10 hours, need to speed up some parts if you want it to be captured by the PG.

Hihi! We just graduated in November and had everything done on the same day as well, do-able but we started our day really early partly also because we stopped by our new home :)
Brief schedule below for your reference!

3am: Make-up for bride
4.15am: PG & AG arrive
5.30am: Gatecrash
6am: Complete gatecrash (my hub sang and read the 'love contract at my parent's house)
6.20am: Photography
7am: Arrive at new house, photography, tang yuan
7.45am: Arrive at groom's house + tea ceremony
9am: Reach hotel > Photography
10am: Bride return to touch up/change
11am: ROM
11:30am: Tea ceremony (Bride's)
12:00pm: Bride/Groom to change

Then the rest will be banquet :)

We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected because solemnizer was slightly late (10 - 15 mins). Good to buffer more time in between to cater for delays and last minute changes :)

Happy planning!

Thanks so much for sharing! I won't be having solemisation and 2nd march in though, that might free up some time for photography. I should be getting a 8 to 10 hrs photography package! =)

Hi, it depends on your family and your relatives. The number of people you have to serve tea lor.

Cos if you see, I allocated 1.5h for the soleminization and tea ceremony. I might not have enough time to serve all within the first session, so only serve the important ones first like grandparents and parents first. Cos I still wanna allocate time to touch up make-up before lunch. So must allocate 15 mins to make my way up to bridal suite as well.

It's really entirely up to the individual. If your family unit is small, not so many relatives, you can finish quickly. And serve tea is not as fast as just serve, drink and go. The relatives will bless you, wish you la... Some might have gifts for you... Some very lor-soh... Then the photographer may make you pose while serving... From what I see during my friend's wedding, 45 mins might not be enough. That's why I allocated time for 2nd round of tea ceremony. :)

icic... thanks for sharing. Mine is a lunch banquet and I’m still thinking of time allocation cos my ROM needs to be done between a certain timing. Need to allocate among morning activities, outdoor photo shoot, tea ceremony, ROM then banquet.

Ours was lunch too..
A brief summary of the allocation:
1. 7 to 8+am Gatecrash at Bride place
2. 10+am Tea Ceremony at Hotel
3. 12pm ROM
4, 1pm Lunch starts

Outdoor shoot is probably between post Gatecrash to Hotel for Tea (we din go back to Hubby place or our own place cos there's really no time).
Our parents went to Hotel after the Gatecrash as we had a MUA there for the mothers' makeup.
Tea ceremony takes around 45mins and someone must organise both side, cos relatives need to arrive early for the tea ceremony (its no joke for the relatives loh considering they need to leave home at 9am to attend your tea and lunch). The tea had to end on time so the bride can change from Kua back to gown for the ROM.

Similar to @melisselling, we had the hotel prepare the teapot and tea in our suite after the lunch, so we could continue the tea ceremony for other relatives (especially our elders who were 80+ as its tough for them to come in early and sit around for hours till lunch).https://singaporebrides.com/weddingforum/members/melisselling.153673/
