Hi! I'm a 7 October bride! Would be worthwhile to check out Alisha and lace at international plaza. Small selection but very well made gowns. Packages are $4xxx for PWS, AD, make up, flowers etc. It isn't cheap but it's a good deal. Do check it out!

Hello all oct btbs! We just decided on our date too - 7 Oct! Same as @lauratong ☺️☺️ so far we've only confirmed our church venue, but are going to check out Hotel Fort Canning, Marriott, Regent and Hilton over this weekend :)

I went to Kleid Gown last Sun and they were really generous in letting me try 10 gowns & there was no hard selling at all!! They have some great deals for PW & AD, but are mostly focusing on MTMs. Thinking of checking out Rico & Silhouette... Any reviews abt them?

Hi cubbyhui, I am also shortlisting labelle, Ricoamona and Louvre Bridal. Will be making my trips these few weeks. I booked for Louvre Bridal's Anniversary event in October and hope that I can make a decision by then.
Can you share with me both Rico and Labelle's packages? My email is [email protected]

haha that's so exciting!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one panicking & booking everything this early. My fiance thinks I'm nuts (read: kiasu) for trying to get everything sorted this early.

oh! what are their rates like? maybe can get them to do AD x Photobooth (really getting a bit lazy planning everything)
we decided to go with a local photographer for our NZ shoot, so at least something is settled :)

Hi All,
We are having our AD on 22nd Oct and shortlisted Hilton for our Wedding lunch, and planned for our PWS in Italy.
Next step's to look for gowns now.
Wondering if anyone had looked into Divine Coulture and any price guide, reviews to share ?

I visited Divine Couture. Kim is the designer and she has many beautiful gowns. I have totally fallen in love with a dreamy ballgown. Her cheong sum inspired evening gowns are very exquisite too. U shud pay her a visit to check out yourself!
Price wise, because of good material and designs, it's on the higher end compared to those shops along Tanjong Pagar. Kim is also very warm and friendly, and instantly can recommend what suits me and my body type and my character. It was a joy meeting her.
I am not related to Divine couture. This is just my 2 cents worth. I had to search for gowns after my horrible experience with a MTM shop.

Hi dorvino,
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Would you mind to PM me the package price too :p
Just realized its not as easy as we thought to get gowns separately as the prices quoted us by some bridal shops seemed higher as we din do PWS + AD with them

Congrats... my aussie colleagues did mention its better to engage locals for shoots in AU/ NZ as the immigration and foreign workers laws are quite strict. Otherwise, its important to ensure the bridal PG has a permit to operate locally as the PG could be otherwise stuck at the customs :(

I'm getting mine from hello flowers. She's a very nice girl, and happen to be my Uni Friend. So it's definitely somebody thrustworthy her rates are reasonable too, can consider.
Thanks for the stamp of approval. Had asked quotes from her too. Yet to decide. I think still have time?

Hello ladies! i went to rico-a-mona, digio and odelia bridal today!

Signed with odelia bridal. they are really damn good with their work and they know what they are talking about and offering. =)
for rico, i did try their gowns~~ really very princessy~!! hahahah.
hmm then their package is quite standard la, i managed to bargain for extra stuff, n there's this $400 discount for first 40 couples who sign with them, their after discount package price added with the GST and those addons, it's still around the same price as what you can find else where. i feel like we are not very convinced cos i asked abt the AD PG and MUA and said that my friends recommended me this few persons, i wanna know the price, they just kept replying me with they have alot of other PGs and MUAs to choose from not only the ones i mentioned. but i said i think i prefer this few, but still they dont tell me how much is their AD PG and MUA.
:(
Rico's gowns are superb and the selection is like a buffet. but i guess i'm the photography and makeup kind so in the end signed with odelia.
Odelia bridal boss is Rex, the Main PG and the guy behind luvaddict photography and previously 2 of us photography. n what sold me is that their gowns are customised and designed by their lady boss. quite humble people and very friendly. wasn't pushed into signing anythg, either at rico or at odelia. i went back to odelia after going to rico on my own accord. HAHAHA. :p
my HTB is the kind who doesn't like sales talk and he will just sit there play games on phone and let me settle and talk, but he spoke out quite alot with Odelia, which made me think he's quite comfortable with them!
i got quite a few perks too! like i think it's perks la or maybe you all dont think its perks cos your bargaining power is more powerful than mine. HAHAHAH. :D:D
PM me if you guys have any questions!! i m ok and happy to share and help! :D:D

Hi @Mhae & @eang18, me too 22nd October 2017!!

I'm having dinner initially wanted lunch but my HTB wanted dinner. I have booked with Pan Pacific Orchard as I wanted a small scale wedding, prefer a cozy wedding. So far for me the guest list is a headache but once everyone has RSVP with me I think should've be a problem. What else have I missed out? Can please highlight to me?
Thanks !!

How much is your Budget and what are you looking for? As in the type of gowns or the style of the photographer?
Just signed up a local BS weeks ago and left with the photography for AD.
What do you all usually do for montage?

Hi all,
I'm Oct brides too :)
My AD is Oct 7th, 2017
Venue: Marriott Hotel
BS: Castalia at JB
Photography + Videography: thinking to get Visoworkz

Still sourcing for MUA for actual day. Any recommendations?

And I like to ask if Xi Bin needed for Guo Da Li? My mother passed away and left my old father who usually no comments on what we want to do. My relatives are old and their children all married 10-20years ago. Not sure who to ask...

Mmmm.... am still working on guest list at the moment but cos it's a small event for us 18 tables ... so I gather the rsvp will be quite easy ... family and friends whom we interact all the time kinda ... I'm now thinking of the photo booth, the reception decor ...MCs ... oh yes ... and invitation cards... hoping to settle these by Jul

For Guo Da Li ... I think it's a personal gesture ... so can either do all ... or replace with Ang paos for those lesser use or eat items (so you Wun waste the stuffs ) ... so long the elders are ok. Nowadays... other fancy items bought for the occasion are really for photos and instagram ... Xi Bi and cakes will fall into the same category too ... traditional wedding cakes shop like Gin Thye should be able to advise what's needed for different dialects (but by bride's)
