Just wondering if 1 barrel of beer (approx 90 glasses) is enough for 25 tables of guests on Sunday wedding lunch?
How about wine? How much is enough?
Thank you!

Just attended a wedding lunch 2 weeks back. Seems like more guests prefer wine to beer.
But deciding on the quantity also depends on the profile of your guests. Perhaps u can ask your guests on their preference?
I m also doing wedding lunch.. I've opted for free flow of wine instead of beer.
Sunday Lunch: for a table of 10 pax average wine consumption is 1.2-1.5 bottle per table.
a bottle of 750ml wine can serve 4-6 glasses of wine depending on the size of glassware used!
hope this help you in making the decision of how much wine to serve.
Mine will also be a wedding lunch of approx 15-17 tables. We have a barrel of 30litres beer and 18 bottles of free wine.
I been to a few wedding lunches and dinners and realised that guests usually do not drink as much for lunch as compared to dinner.
The wedding lunch which I just attended last Saturday, I was the only one who drank wine. The rest were having soda.
It really depends on the preferences of your guests.
Most older guests prefer beer, and younger crowds prefer wine.
