Hello! i'm 21 Oct AD. i dont think so cos I already booked my solemnisation and wedding lunch venue. hahaha sourcing for bridal studio now.

the venue only. hahaha. cos it's the same place as wedding lunch so tgt lor. i don't know if i shld rent gown n freelance PG or i shld straight book a package with a bridal studio. i'm going korea for PWS so it's only AD stuff i'm worrying about.
Where will you be holding ur lunch at? I'm thinking of korea or japan for my PWS as well.. probably will be going during spring period. Should be cheaper if do ala carte ba..

I will be holding at Amara Sanctuary Sentosa. Not banquet though, just a small intimate solemnisation and buffet lunch. I think if going Korea or japan for PWS it's cheaper to directly liaise with the studios there. I'm going to korea in Spring 2017 for my PWS.
for AD I'm still comparing prices between ala carte and studio package.

heyhey! i'm a oct 1 bride! settled my venue for soleminzation and wedding dinner venue. now fretting over prewed shoot, not sure to do it in sg or overseas, though more inclined with the latter.

I was also caught in between the 2 options. most likely i will choose overseas cos I didn't want to have similar outdoor shots as my friends. but if SG studios are as good as Korea's, I don't mind also.

Is there like a sequence to book my AD stuff? I'm still looking at AD gown package but my brother was telling me to book AD photo and video first..
only got my wedding band & venue settled
I think there isn't any sequence to book AD stuff. I have tight budget so I will only focus for those bs which is fall within my budget.
you short listed the gown warehouse also. same same but I have yet to decide which to sign up with.

is it cheaper to book AD gowns and PG by ala carte or by studio? I don't know which is more worth it. =/
Ala carte is more exp. I wanted for ala carte to source for my own gown, pg & mua after I compare the price via bs is cheaper.
The gown warehouse they allow you to choice the mua you like they have a list of mua. But is abit over my budget. My budget for AD is between $2500- $3k, I wanted a mtm gown. So far I source have to top up quite a bit for mtm.

Hahah our budget for AD is almost same. My budget is 2k to 3k. I don't need a made to measure gown cos only wearing for a few hours. I will be going down to digio n rico a mona in july to check out their AD packages.
Can share their AD packages after you visited them thanks. I have wedding gown design in mind so I would like to have mtm if possible keke.

Raph_gin, I agree with you. That y I btb don't go with me he don't like those pushy staff once you walk in don't let you out.

Yes yes i will definitely share! hahaha good things must share! i agree with both of you as my htb hates to go to bridal shows and get sales talk by those pushy sales persons. so for our wedding i'm deciding everythg and he's deciding on the renovation of the house. cos i'm the straightforward kind i will not give in to sales talk easily. if no vibe for the bridal studio no choice pushing me into it also. lolol. sounds bitchy. HAHAHA but i think that's the only way to deal with those pushy sales persons.

Based on personal banquet experience for friends' weddings. i think marriott, furama riverfront, mandarin oriental not too bad. but what kind of wedding do you want? i think the venue sets the mood of the wedding too.

so you are oct 21! hehe.. we wanted sat wedding as well but was only given sunday and some weekdays
I attended a wedding @ orchard parade recently.. their food was one of the better one i had so far but the march-in aisle seem bit weird and tight.
We are more particular about the food and march-in aisle.. not so much about the theme and setting of the ballroom.

hahaha yes I know. I called ytd and they say slightly over 20 couples signed up. I think by the time I go down on sunday. no more slots already if I really wanna sign. but it doesn't matter, I don't have to sign on sunday also.

Hi BTBs,
I'm selling off my actual day bridal package because my fiancé and I have changed our wedding plans and will not require such a comprehensive package anymore. We had no issues with the bridal studio, the people there are very helpful and friendly and their studio has very good ratings (4.9 out of 5) as shown on Facebook (PM me so I can let you know which studio it is).
The package was valued at almost $7500 but will be letting go at $3850.
Details of the package as such:
1. 1 wedding gown with accessories (free choice; and if you can't find the gown you like at the studio, they noted on the receipt that they will source the required wedding gown at no cost)
2. 1 evening gown with accessories
3. 1 tea dress or kwa
4. 2 sets of mens suit
5. 2 sessions of Make up and hair do (note that there's no trial make up because I have tried it already)
6. 1 set of bridal bouquet with 6 corsages
7. 1 set of bridal car decoration with following car ribbons
8. 2 sister rental dress
9. 5 bridesmaids dress rental
10. 2 father jackets
11. 1 brother jacket
12. 6 wrist band flowers
13. Actual day 10 hour photography service with unlimited pose returned in soft copy 30% colour correction.
14. Actual day videographer 10 hour service with morning express highlights of 3-5mins. DVD returned.
As it is, full day wedding photography and videography services nowadays are at least $1600 for each service, so this package price is really good.

Hello ladies! i went to rico-a-mona, digio and odelia bridal today!
Signed with odelia bridal. they are really damn good with their work and they know what they are talking about and offering. =)
for rico, i did try their gowns~~ really very princessy~!! hahahah.
hmm then their package is quite standard la, i managed to bargain for extra stuff, n there's this $400 discount for first 40 couples who sign with them, their after discount package price added with the GST and those addons, it's still around the same price as what you can find else where. i feel like we are not very convinced cos i asked abt the AD PG and MUA and said that my friends recommended me this few persons, i wanna know the price, they just kept replying me with they have alot of other PGs and MUAs to choose from not only the ones i mentioned. but i said i think i prefer this few, but still they dont tell me how much is their AD PG and MUA.
Rico's gowns are superb and the selection is like a buffet. but i guess i'm the photography and makeup kind so in the end signed with odelia.
Odelia bridal boss is Rex, the Main PG and the guy behind luvaddict photography and previously 2 of us photography. n what sold me is that their gowns are customised and designed by their lady boss. quite humble people and very friendly. wasn't pushed into signing anythg, either at rico or at odelia. i went back to odelia after going to rico on my own accord. HAHAHA.
my HTB is the kind who doesn't like sales talk and he will just sit there play games on phone and let me settle and talk, but he spoke out quite alot with Odelia, which made me think he's quite comfortable with them!

I was stuck between La Belle and Digio but I've bought an AD package with La Belle in the end. You could take up the AD package without the pre-wedding photoshoot. La Belle is more of a flexible package while Digio is cheaper. Depends on which area you're focusing at.

ohhhh, good choice! I wanted that initially too but might be abit inconvenient for the elderly thus dropped the idea. but the ballroom is so pretty!
