Aisle Bridal Reviews?

just did our pws yesterday and it was really great... really took us close to 3 hours to do make up and hair. Did our indoor shoot from 12-330pm and we only left studio around 4ish but lucky we manage to finish all the outdoor places we had and reach back studio just before 9pm.. Jacky our photographer is really good, he is very fun and friendly and know how to make us smile or laugh before he took a shot. Jing Yan our MUA is very pro too and the make up done by her is good... had a great fun at our pws and very satisfied.. now we are worried we might have a hard time choosing our photos end of this month

Ooh awesome! I'm so happy to hear that. Now I'm really excited about my upcoming shoot. c: Great to know that you had a good time! Where did you go for the outdoor shoots?

if you wanna do shoots at the tulip mania, try to do it early and during weekdays. else you will have a hard time getting nice photos due to the overwhelming crowd. Plus its only a small patch, not the entire dome.

Great to hear you have a smooth and enjoyable wedding shoot. Did you have enough time to shoot most of the indoor scenes?

Oic.. mine just tell me one month. But anyway.. they called today and said the photos are ready for selection. My htb missed their call few weeks again. No wonder~~~~~ haha..

3.5 weeks to my photo shoot, excited! Managed to get them to agree to putting our studio shoot in the evening so our outdoor shoot at the zoo can commence earlier. Happy! Did all the arrangements with the zoo too, they are such nice people. c:

I'm a bit worried about my hair and lashes. They advised me to dye my hair but I have virgin hair so I don't know how my sensitive scalp is going to react. Thinking of getting highlights instead, maybe the balayage kind so at least it won't come into contact with my skin. Not sure if I should wait till the trial make up before deciding on a colour since they might want to put hair extensions for me? My stupid hair is growing so slowly so I'm thinking I might need extensions; sekali if I dye first then the colour doesn't match.

I'm also worried about the eyelash glue for the falsies. Never used falsies before (sensitive eyes.. urgh, I have sensitive EVERYTHING). I'm actually thinking of eyelash extensions because I read so many good things about Graceous, but then I don't know if Jin Yen will be restricted with regards to eye make up if I get those.

Actually u can contact her and consult her on your worries. I did my hair after the trial makeup... as I'm also unsure on the colour to dye. So during the trial make up I ask Jin Yen about it..

I have a bad experience with one of their sales reps during BOWS. Initially i thought the aisle bridal is quite reputable, hence decided to take a look at their package offer. This auntie sales rep tried to hard sell which i know it is common for bridal shops. What actually piss me off is that she doubted me and my partner by asking us several times if the aisle bridal is the first bridal shop we visited/dropped by, before she gives us other perks. Does it matter whether first or not? If you are sincere to give your potential customers the perks, just do so without doubting them. And my HTB and I actually had to emphasize our answers for several times to this auntie sales rep.

Just within 15 -20 mins talk, this is not the only bad experience with her, which i shan't mention too much. Sometimes, the service rendered matters too.

Got a call from my coordinator on Mon and she said that they have to change my photographer because Jackyz isn't working there anymore. : / Now it's been changed to this new guy, Max or something. I hope he's good.

Going for my trial make up tomorrow! Hope everything goes smoothly. My coordinator won't be there because it's her off day.

Ohh??
Everything will go smoothly.. don't worry.. :)

I had my trial make up session with Jin Yan yesterday and it went great! She is such a nice and gentle lady and her skills are amazing. I told her that I was planning to highlight my hair (instead of dyeing because I have a very sensitive scalp) and she said she could do it. I just got it done at her sister's salon today and I'm really happy with the results! The colours she picked are very natural and she's incredibly thorough. She even gave me a much desired trim. It's awesome that I could go to her since she knows specifically what she wants to do with my hair for the wedding. Definitely looking forward to having her doll me up at the photo shoot next week. (:

Great that it went well with your MUA! Yeah I am also contemplating to highlight my hair too. So did you highlight it in the end? Or you dyed it! :)

I highlighted it. I told Jin Yan that my scalp is sensitive so she was very careful not to colour to the roots. She's very very gentle and thorough. All in all, it took about 3 hours to get everything done. Best part was it didn't irritate me at all! She also picked the colours for me based on my complexion and my original hair colour.

ohhh jacky no longer work for Aisle Bridal?? so wasted cos his photo skills really good... very satisfied with the pics he took for us and we had such a hard time choosing the photos because every pic look so great and how we wish we can take every single photo.. they got say y he no longer work there?

Oops, very belated response. I actually fell ill after my shoot, lol. I think too much stress leading up to it, haha!

My shoot went really well, actually much better than I expected! My photographer was Max and my videographer was Jacob. Max is absolutely wonderful. I warned him from the start that my fiance and I were really bad at taking photos and he was so nice about it. Throughout the whole shoot, he really made us comfortable and coached us on the poses. I think we actually made things quite hard for him since we threw in unexpected little challenges like my little dog joining us for the studio shoot and having to deal with a rather frisky miniature horse during our outdoor shoot. He took it all with grace though and made the day so enjoyable and memorable for us. If only we could have him for our AD as well. :c Anyhoo, I have nothing but praise for him. He showed us a few sneak peaks from his camera and they looked stunning. He's really good with utilizing lighting and angles.

I have to give a shout-out to all of The Aisle staff there that day, including all the coordinators (some names I couldn't catch), Jacob, Jin Yen (my MUA), the other MUA and Ryan (the other couple's photographer). When my dog joined the shoot, everyone was so nice and welcoming to her. Ryan and Jacob even helped out when my dog was too distracted during the shoot. They were standing behind Max and joining him in making goofy little noises to get her attention. Ryan was actually on his break while his couple did their touch-ups between shoots so I thought it was really nice of him.

I also really loved Jin Yan's make up and hair for me that day! I topped up for her to follow us outdoors and I highly recommend it. Despite the weather not being too warm, it was super humid at the zoo so my fiance and I were both sweating. She, being the most efficient person ever, was doing constant touch-ups for me while we rode on the zoo buggy from one location to another. This saved us a lot of time and ensured that my make up was fresh.

On the whole, my fiance and I are eternally grateful to Jin Yan and Max. Being incredibly camera-shy, we thought the day was going to be quite excruciating but it was actually one of the best days ever. Even my fiance started to relax in front of the camera, which is a very rare thing.

The only thing that I thought was strange was the fact that my coordinator didn't make a single appearance throughout the day. In fact, I haven't seen her since my gown selection day back in Feb. Even the appointment for photo selection was done by a different coordinator. Still, all the other coordinators that helped me on the way (Jacqueline for the gown fitting and some others whose names I didn't catch on the photo shoot day) were really nice, helpful and efficient.

Great to know that.. guess u will have a hard time when choosing the photos..

Ohh I see, thanks ladies! Do you have to decide on the day itself? If so, I better decide on a budget with the fiance beforehand to see how much we're willing to add.

I remember that the cost is $95 per page or something like that. Is the top up price calculated per photo or page (eg do you need to pay more for 4 photos as compared to 2 photos on 1 page?)

yes.. u got to decide on the day itself which makes it such a headache cos all the photos so pretty, we duno which to eliminate.. so better set on a budget of how much u willing to pay for extra page and photos, add one photo is $95, add another page is another price abt $180 and all is before gst... so got to think properly.. we spend 4.5 hours selecting and choosing.. haha

Oh tian ah, I forgot it's before GST. I better be careful. The way it adds up, if I add too many, can go for another external pre wedding shoot already. The charge for each page is additional to the photos?

Haha, I'm very indecisive so we're probably going to take that long to decide too. The coordinator stayed with you the entire time?

ya the price for additional page is on top of the photos.. so can be very ex if u add up everything.. hoho... ya she stay throughout but she is not my coordinator.. she just in charge of photos de..

Hi BTB,

Have anyone here tried to ask your coordinator, if you could purchase all the unedited soft copies? I'm having my pre-wedding photoshoot in September with them, and I predict I will definitely choose more then 35 poses  I know some BS allows to purchase all soft copies at a fixed price, hope they does too.
