Hello, has any bride bought their actual day wedding gown from taobao? Or intending to buy? Heard that some bridal studios actually get their gowns from china so was wondering if it is a wise option

Hehehs I just tried buying things on taobao for the first time. Goods still in transit. The kua looks gd on taobao, just like the shop rentals. What about ur wedding gowns?I'm thinking of buying cheongsam/qipao/kua from taobao but scared to try.. hahah.. zero experience with taobao.
hmm, might do an mtm. tried dresses at 2 studios, I find that the standard sizes don't really fit me, my top is a UK 10, buttom UK 12. best fit was a vera wang, but then it was too long and too expensive hahah.
kua is more of a loose fit? so can maybe can buy online.

For the gown that doesn't fit, was it made to measure? Or their actual piece is different from the sizes they provided? Did u use shipping or air freight for your gowns?
I bought my gown from Taobao via 65daigou. 65daigou recently did the inspection and sent me photos of it. I'm so happy with how it turned out because I requested for customization and was so worried that they wouldn't understand how I wanted it to be changed. Now I'm just waiting for them to ship it to me.
Here's my experience with taobao wedding gown. I think it is not bad and cheap too. Just gotta be careful and remember to read reviews before the purchase

The other 2 I've bought fit well.. Quality is not bad also.

This 65daigou is a scam! My friend's item is only very small, but she got charged 250 grams volumetric weight and 150 actual weight.
Unfortunately for 65daigou, my friend check with the taobao merchant and confirm the item is only 50grams! We confronted 65daigou and insisted to re-weigh the item before collection.
Suddenly, the actual weight miraculously drop from 250g (150g) to 60g! This Agnes gave excuse say it's because they help to remove packaging. Ya right! The taobao merchant give bullet proof packaging is it? Weigh 100g, double the item weight itself!
After getting caught red-handed, she still have the cheek to say don't trust us go and use our competitors without even apologising.
Typical china company, cheat if can, shirk responsibility if get caught. Singapore is a small country but the people here are not stupid, wouldn't be long until public learns of your dirty methods.
Be careful of these 15% off marketing tricks. Give you 15% off here, sneakily weight add another 500% net net you still lose. Insist on weigh measurement check and don't get cheated by this Agnes and this China company which act as if no big deal and never apologise after this incident.
Regret not comparing before using their service. Simple google will show many forum complaints about their underhand methods. Their facebook also has several complaints that will appear for a day or two, then suddenly disappear after their admin delete. Fellow brides got to be careful.

after seeing your post, I went to check the individual items' weight.. true enough, there was an order that was indicated as 2.05kg. but when I enquired 65daigou, they "rectified" the weight to 0.25kg. no reasons given. but they did apologise.
now I wonder if I should request them to check the weight of all orders..
I was very upset when they sent a rusted gold plated necklace and say the seller is unable to give them refund after too long. I went straight to the seller n ask is it the case. The seller said no much thing. Can exchange. I print screen and den they said ohhh coz u got proof the seller relunctantly agrees. But honestly the seller never mention of the timeframe at all... Is they lazy. And say the ppl there dunno it shld be all gold. Im like so someone will purposely buy a rusty necklace to wear?! The customer service manager still say no la. Im like so then? And after alot of things... They wan to charge my shipping fee. I got it waived off but the shipment comes still wan to charge me!!!! I had to scream and complain and say they eat their own words den they reluctantly got it waived off.
I was very pissed really but i compared to direct shipping. 65daigou when they got promo is really cheaper and u can yell n bang door at them. If not china sellers too far away la. U got shitty products u gotta suck thumb.

Shipping is acceptable becoz i I bought many other stuff as well. It was a good buy. Still loving it
