Hi all,

I am new to this forum, I would like to ask if anyone has the experience of going through a catholic church wedding? Will it affect the gatecrashing and tea ceremony?
Me and my HTB wants to have a wedding lunch instead of dinner, anyone has that experience as well? Please share with me=)

Thanks.

Depends on what time yr mass starts.. Some churches have fixed timing for wedding mass.. I tink maybe yr tea ceremony need to do during lunch if not might have no time

Where will your lunch be held? If is at hotel n hotel is near the church, I supposed is possible. Tea ceremony (if u want it) can be either after or during lunch. I saw before someone doing it but she do away w the tea ceremony.

Hi, just had my wedding the weekend that past.. I had my church wedding on Saturday and my wedding lunch on Sunday. My tea ceremony was done just before lunch cos anyway, the guests for tea and also for lunch are the same.
If you intend to have everything on the same day, the timing will be very tight and you will be very tired.
You got to start super early for gatecrash (which I started at 8.15am), go church (mass at 10.30am) then move to lunch.
It works if ur mass is about 9.30am? Or even 9am? Then you can go for your tea ceremony then lunch..

Hi, MIA for awhile. I booked my church wedding at SFX. I planning to have small reception after the mass and wedding dinner at 7pm.
Any florist, church choir and catering can recommend? do you all think do I have time for tea ceremony during the reception or is it better to have before our wedding dinner?

I'm having my church wedding there too! When are you getting married?

I engaged floral magic to do the flowers. They're a Catholic family and have lots of experience decorating churches. I haven't decided on the tea ceremony yet as my dinner is on be next day :)
