Hi Ladies
I'm letting go of my tulle wedding gown by Spanish brand La Sposa, sister brand of Pronovias.
SIZE
The dress has been tailored down to fit me:
Bust - 32"
Waist - 27"
Hip - 37" (this will be less important as from waist down, the dress is made with over 10 layers of soft tulle)
Height - 169cm, worn with flats
Normally I wear UK8 and US4 clothes, and as a gauge I can wear Monique Lhuillier US4 and Jenny Packham UK8 without alteration.
STYLE COLOUR
This is a strapless ballgown, featuring beaded lace sweetheart bustier with silk sash crossing down the waist. I've added push up cups sewn into the dress, but these are removable.
From waist down, the skirt portion features layers and layers of silk tulle with delicate French lace appliques. I wore it with a 1-layer can can, so as to achieve A-line silhouette, for ease of movement and walking. Please note that the dress does not have any train, but it covered my feet completely and slightly grazed the floor, I wore flat shoes with it. Instead, I've opted for a long veil for the train effect.
COLOUR
The colour of the dress is slightly darker than ivory, it was named 'vintage ivory' by the boutique. It was perfect for my rustic/vintage-themed wedding in Bali. Outdoor with sun light, it appears as per other ivory dresses.
For better reference, here are some pictures taken on my wedding day:
PURCHASE DETAILS
Dress was bought and tailored in-house in Cecile, the biggest bridal boutique in Munich, at €1825 (around S$3,000 based on 2013-2014 exchange rate).
OTHER DETAILS
Dress has been sent to professional dry-cleaning by 'For the Love of Laundry' and is well-stored.
Please PM me for price, questions and requests for more pictures. I will also consider throwing in my veil, which is a perfect match in colour and vintage style to the dress.
