Dear all BTB,

Can you recommend your bridal studios? I'm a UK 18 so far I've been to a few studios but they're gowns are not catered to our size...

I am a 16-18 bride and I sign with white link. ;) but do note for white link, if u opt for designer gowns.. It is additional charge on top of the package.
 
I'm a size 14-16 and I went to Johor Bahru for my bridal studio- Venus Bridal... They have many larger pieces and best of all a full-time seamstress to help you adjust your size of your dress. Their service and quality is VERY good and cheaper than Singapore bridal studios for pre-wedding photoshoot and actual day rental of gown. My hubby is very plus size and they have many options for him as well! I was pleasantly surprised and chose them to be my bridal studio :)

I know la belle couture at tanjong pagar has launched a range for new gowns which are targeted at plus size brides. The collection is named adele and caters to brides who are UK 14 and above. Hope this helps.
 
Hii, maybe can try The Aisle for Plus size bride, bestie just got married in May 15, she is a plus size bride. But seriously her gown really very pretty. She sign up MTM package & staff suggest her to MTM evening gown instead of wedding gown cos there are more choices for wedding gown. It was a perfect evening gown & right choice cos during the banquet, we actually wear evening gown longer den wedding gown!
 
Understand the night before AD, brides have to wear the silky material of sleep wear. anyone know where to get for plus size?
 
@cyn89 I think it's up to you whether you wanna wear those silk stuff... I think it will just look nicer on the photos. So I guess it depends if you will have photoshoot early in the morning
 
hello dears! Im size 16, i got my gown at Little White Wedding shop. Ive also introed my plus size friends to go, amazingly, i can wear every single piece they offer. Its located at katong Shopping centre, and now the owners are extremely nice people.
 
Hi, I am plus sized abt size 16-18. My AD gown was from a home biz at woodlands. Very happy with her gowns and the prices are reasonable. Very sweet lady and not pressurizing. Let me know if you want her contact.

My coordinator was vyen. She is a very detailed n patience to all the qn. I did heard from her that they do have plus size gown now after many other bridal shop rejected as they do not have.

Yes they do have plus size gowns!! Not sure about the sizes but I'm uk18-20.
My coordinator was Vyen too. She gave us lots of advise. Maybe you can go down have a appointment with them and see how it goes.

Their packages is very flexible too!

Thank you! Will add La Belle to my shortlisted bridal shops. Saw a couple of 1 star reviews on their FB thou.
How do you usually make appointments with bridal shops? Email or FB msg or call?

Yes I did. They allow me to try 2 pieces but I was in a rush to try 1 only. 18th Sep 2016. I signed for the $2088 with add on pre wedding + AD photography. . Total I paid abt 4.6k.
How abt you?

I signed the $3588 package for 2 gowns and 26 wishing stars for me to use for the package. and additional $1000 for pre wedding shoot.
seems like your package was more cheaper than mine as you had AD photography.

oh. How much does your god sis charge?
I was thinking abt getting a planner but htb dont agree to that.

Yes! my dinner was a weekday dinner so I got free flow of beer. 10 additional bottle of wine for confirmed 20 tables. parking coupon increase to 30%. additional night at designer suite. helper room from 2-8pm. waiver for all duty paid wine corkage.

This are all the additional perks i got from the workshop.

What kind of service does she provide? I'm quite lost about wedding planning.
 
Hi do you have a list of the items that can be used for the wishing stars? My AD is in Aug but still yet to choose a bridal studio. Need help! I am a UK 16/18.
