Advice needed for a simple wedding

Hi all beautiful brides,
im planning to hold wedding lunch in nov 15 together with solomization and tea ceremony at the hotel. Both HTB and I want to make it a really simple one and decided to do away with the gate crashing. We also intend to stay at the hotel the night prior to the wedding to save time and hassle. Have anyone encountered or done in similar ways before? Appreciate if anyone can share their experience or itinerary

Im also doing the exact same schedule as what u mentioned just that my solemnization was done last week!

My itinerary is quite straightforward... since we also gonna stay the night prior to the wedding lunch. No gatecrashing as well!

hey babe! forgot to include - my wedding is on May 2015 so I haven't gone through the whole thing yet

but for the planning wise, I will be doing tea ceremony for both sides at the hotel before the lunch banquet starts.. i will be informing relatives to come slightly earlier.. I will have photobooth services etc so at least they wont feel bored while waiting

I haven't really came up with a full itinerary yet.. just simple estimation here n there

I did my all as what u mentioned all in the hotel and mine is a lunch too! We check in the hotel the night b4 and My itinerary as follows:

4:30am - wake up and wash up
5:30am - breakfast
6am - make up
8:20am - gate crash
9am - couple leaves for tea ceremony
9:45am - phototaking with helpers
11:30am - solemisation
12pm - reception
1pm - lunch commencement

We didn't check in the night before and there was no gatecrash. Here's my schedule:

6am: (for me) wake up, wash up, breakfast
6.30am: bestman starts to drive out to pick up helpers, my now husband and me.
8am: reach hotel and start hair and makeup.
10am: Photographer reach, start couple photoshoot.
11am: touch up make up.
12nn: Relatives reach. Solemnisation, tea ceremony, group photos with family, relatives.
12.30pm: friends reach, group photos.
1-4pm: Buffet lunch

It can get quite packed and rushed if you're doing lunch reception so make sure you have a heavy breakfast and have water throughout the morning. I didn't get to drink anything between my makeup and sitting down to eat around 2pm.
