Note:
Actual Qing Ming Day: 5 April 2022.
It is a Chinese belief that the sweep tomb period (10 days before Qing Ming) and the entire 3rd lunar month is inauspicious for move in. The dates are listed in the Tong Shu as general good dates. However, based on Chinese customs/beliefs, these dates should generally be avoided as it falls within the Qing Ming period.

Note:
7th lunar month from 29 July to 26 August 2022. It is a Chinese belief that move in should not be carried out in the 7th lunar month. The dates are listed in the Tong Shu as general good dates for move in but they fall under the 7th lunar month.

The Year Breaker month (岁破) is the month (7 August to 6 September 2022) that clashes to the year, hence generally it is considered a bad month for all important activities, including move in. The dates are listed in the Tong Shu as general good dates. As a guide, these dates should generally be avoided for move in purpose.

Disclaimer: Note that these are general good dates only.

The dates may vary among different publications of the Tong Shu. In authentic date selection, the couple’s Bazi (birthday and time of birth) have to be taken into consideration to ensure that the selected date and the couple’s Bazi are compatible.

An auspicious date listed in the Tong Shu can still turn out to be inauspicious if the selected date and the couple’s Bazi are incompatible.
