An Elegant Wedding Styled Shoot Under The Stars At Botanico at The Garage
We returned to Botanico at The Garage for yet another styled shoot at the beautiful heritage building.
Upon our first visit to Botanico at The Garage five years ago, we fell in love with its handsome and cosy interiors. Five years later, we return for a second styled shoot at this charming space, and fell in love with it all over again. This time, together with a group of talented wedding vendors, we dreamed of a subtly romantic soiree in this cosy space with muted shades like blush, mauve and dusky rose, coupled with dreamy fairy lights in the alfresco courtyard, where we imagine a couple in love exchanging their vows under the stars.
Housed on the upper level of a refurbished two-storey Art Deco building, quietly tucked in the lush greenery of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the minimalist beauty of the contemporary space makes it the perfect canvas for any wedding theme. During our first styled shoot, we transformed the cosy restaurant into a captivating botanical Springtime soiree filled with bright pops of colour. This time, our stylist, I Do For You, dreamed of a palette with more muted shades reminiscent of a Winter wedding with dusky hues.
Staying true to the modern minimalist look of the restaurant, Steffie, founder of I Do For You, and her team designed standing floor florals to complement the botanical and whimsical exterior for a romantic solemnisation at the courtyard and enhance the elegant simplicity of the interior dining space for an intimate celebration, which the experts at Copper Garden executed perfectly.
In line with I Do For You’s vision for the cosy restaurant, Jesselyn from Letters&Olives Co. created a set of wedding stationery with matching designs, with beautiful wax seals that played on the heritage building’s past, in muted shades that exude romance and elegance.
No wedding is complete without some serious bling, so we got in touch with Vault Fine Jewellery. We were excited to feature the beautiful designs by Jocelyn, founder of this bespoke jewellery brand, who loaned us some jewellery Si Dian Jin sets and engagement and wedding rings, including a modern jade set. My favourite was definitely the absolutely romantic and stunning teardrop engagement ring, adorned with clusters of diamonds, which I could hardly keep my eyes off!
And what’s a wedding without sweets? We fell in love with the minimalist yet elegantly beautiful creations by Atherah from Athereal Bakery and knew that we just had to work with them for this shoot! Whipping five exquisite looking and tasting desserts, and a gorgeous minimalist, white wedding cake with a touch of florals and architectural elements, the bakes from Athereal Bakery completed I Do For You’s elegant and romantic vision.
Don’t even get me started about the unquestionably romantic and gorgeous solemnisation set-up at the courtyard. Botanico at The Garage made slight amendments to the set-up outdoors and built an Instagrammable wooden panel backdrop adorned with fairy lights and a trendy neon signage, and hanging fairy lights overhead for the ultimate wedding under the stars. As the sun sets, the warm glow from the lights enhanced the romance in the air, setting the space up for one of the most romantic solemnisations possible.
