Christmas Giveaway and Exclusive Discounts at Bells & Birds’ Bridal Robes Pop-Up Store

Bells & Birds’ pop-up store is open till May 2020, and you can shop in person for their lovely lace and silk bridal robes along with sleepwear, loungewear, and intimates. To celebrate Christmas, we’re giving away exclusive discounts and 3 x $100 credits towards your purchases!
Bells & Birds began five years ago when founder Amanda Koh realised there weren’t any bridal robes available in Singapore. “I started Bells & Birds as I didn’t have my own bridal robe during my wedding!” she shares. She learnt sewing from her mother-in-law and painstakingly began handcrafting lace robes from home, so that other brides could wear beautiful bridal robes for their getting ready shots.
The brand has grown to become popular with brides, who wear the lace or silk bridal robes on the mornings of their weddings, which makes it easy to change after their hair and makeup sessions. They can then bring their romantic pieces on their honeymoons, staycations, travels, and even their maternity shoots.
“Our lace pieces are a perennial favourite, because of the stunning details and how graceful they look,” says Amanda. “They are also very soft and gentle on the skin. I highly recommend our iconic Mon Tresor Lace Kaftan, which can be easily paired with a simple midi slip.” The lace bridal robes are crafted primarily in French and Japanese cotton laces, while their signature personalised robes are made from silk.
“Every robe is made with love locally,” shares Amanda. “All pieces are cut by me, then sewn by home tailors we work with. Each regular piece takes about 4-6 hours, with name embroidery taking an additional hour.” Bells & Birds’ signature personalised robes are available in 120 colours, with lots of opportunities for bespoke designs, such as the placement of embroidery, thread colour, and choice and placement of lace trims. They can also be customised for size and height.
Beyond offering bridal robes, Bells & Birds has expanded their line to include loungewear, printed sleepwear, intimates, and new nightwear collection Forbidden. “There is a change in lifestyle now as people are traveling a lot more often, and having staycations on special occasions,” says Amanda. “Loungewear is great for such events and also make nice, thoughtful gifts that people can definitely put to use.”
All of their collections are available at their pop-up store at #03-14, OUE Downtown Gallery, open from 11am to 7pm Mondays to Fridays till May 2020. At the pop-up, brides can touch and feel the fabrics for themselves, and try on the robes and loungewear before buying.
