Launched in December 2016 at The Oval @ SAP, an expansive cluster of gazetted heritage bungalows in the aerospace park surrounding Seletar Airport, The Summerhouse is one of Singapore’s newest wedding venues. Opened by the good people behind the elegant 1-Altitude and UNA by One Rochester, The Summerhouse is the perfect location for a one-of-a-kind, colonial-inspired wedding celebration.

Able to seat 600 guests on its sprawling 44,000 sq ft property, The Summerhouse is perfect for big, boisterous wedding celebrations. In addition to the Courtyard, which hosts 300 guests, the venue consists of three unique dining concepts. Level 1 hosts 76 guests in Wildseed Cafe and Wildseed Bar. The cafe serves up a hearty menu of sandwiches, pastries, coffee and nature-inspired juices and smoothies in a beautiful setting that’s also home to Poppy Flora Studio and partnering coffee roasters Nomad the Gallant while Wildseed Bar offers bar snacks and cocktails to kickstart celebrations.

With a capacity of 250 seated guests on both levels one and two, The Summerhouse is a spacious alternative wedding venue. Its spaciousness, inspiring verandahs, high ceilings, lovely French-door windows and beautifully restored floors are bound to charm the socks off your guests and whisk them off to another land.
Buckwheat PorridgeTacoUni PastaHelmed by Chef Florian Ridder, Chef de Cuisine of the restaurant, The Summerhouse features a farms-to-table concept menu. A practitioner of permaculture, which is the setting up of a self-sustaining system with as little interaction as possible and the belief that every element in a garden serves a variety of purpose, Chef Florian draws inspiration from the surrounding vast greenery and beautiful gardens for his creations. Working with farmers in Singapore as well as farms beyond our shores, Chef Florain focuses on nature-inspired cuisine using fresh seasonal produce. A specially crafted menu for weddings was also created to ensure that guests from all walks of life experience a gastronomic journey they’ll never forget.
