The THEIA Fall 2017 wedding collection presents dresses that are as fresh as a sea breeze.
Don O’Neill’s past few wedding collections have been unconventional, to say the least. This season, he steps away from barely-there dresses inspired by wisps of smoke in an 1920s opium den and futuristic silver gowns to give us a refreshing take on the beach wedding dress. Blurring the lines between ready-to-wear and bridal, the collection speaks to the modern bride who is looking to free herself from rigid wedding traditions.

Each look is crafted from lightweight fabrics such as cotton guipure laces and silk mousselines to give the bride relaxed, free movement. In addition to feminine, softly draped mermaid silhouettes and free-flowing a-lines, the collection also features jumpsuits and separates for the bold bride to express her style. For the daring, the collection featured statement pieces like Venus, a high-low silver slip dress with an embroidered lace cape overlay, and Maya, a slip dress hand-embroidered with laser-cut leaves and crystals.
