The World Luxury Spa Awards and World Luxury Restaurant Awards will hold their inaugural gala ceremony in celebration of their prestigious nominees on 18 June 2016. Hosted at Grand Hotel Kronenhof, Pontresina in Switzerland, nominees will relish the culturally significant historic establishment, which is a Swiss National Heritage site 1,800m above sea level in Pontresina. Nominated luxury restaurants are selected to strict criteria regarding the overall dining experience—the standards and presentation of haute cuisine, the interior décor, and service reviews. Couples who want to complete their honeymoon with an indulgent gourmet experience can take their pick from this year’s nominees. Amongst the nominees is Pimalai Spa—which we can personally attest—refreshes the body and soul with soothing Thai massages in private couples spa huts set in the natural haven of Koh Lanta’s hills. Revealing the surrounding acacia woodland and water, AM Lodge Spa in South Africa offers an indulgent experience in tranquility.
