The La Belle Couture 2016 Collection – Whimsical Wonderland
The La Belle Couture 2016 collection was unveiled in Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s wedding show.
Titled Whimsical Wonderland, the new collection by La Belle Couture features ethereal tulle and floating chiffon to create gowns as light as a dream, each delicately embellished to fulfil a bride’s fantasies of romance.
Ball gowns look whimsically light, as if their cloud-like layers of tulle can be picked up for a carefree run through green meadows, laughing with one’s love. Another classic, mermaid gowns lightly skim the figure, creating an elegant yet light-hearted mood with soft fabrics and playful colours and details.
Dewy lace adorn the feminine white gowns, skimming the collarbones in a high neckline, trailing upon the shoulders in delicate straps, or flowing down womanly curves in a beautiful mermaid silhouette. Trendy brides would love the delicate sensuality of the sheer gown, with its figure-hugging silhouette and sexy sheer skirt balanced with the modesty of the lace-adorned high neck and glamorous lace train.
Floral appliqué and jewel tones give the evening gowns a romantic glamour. A vintage touch is added with embroidered curlicues, looking glamorous on a deep red gown, and playful in gold on a modern white gown.
