Designer Feature: Tony Ward Bridal 2016 Spring Summer
For his Spring Summer 2016 Bridal collection, Tony Ward created luxuriously detailed gowns that are balanced by their clean lines and classic silhouettes.
The Tony Ward 2016 Bridal gowns are masterfully cut in sleek and classic silhouettes to befit the elegance of a wedding occasion. Brides will find sweetheart necklines, ball gown skirts, or svelte mermaid cuts, along with bridal fabrics like tulle and delicate floral lace. While the silhouettes are elegantly classic, however, Tony Ward plays with fabric and appliqué to create unexpected detailing that elevate the collection from traditional bridal wear.
Exposed corsetry, geometric piping, and translucent pockets are just some of the ways the fashion designer mixes things up to bring a touch of couture into his 2016 bridal collection. Sweetheart necklines get a sharp, modern edge, bold, striped peplums fan out like building architecture, and even a pantsuit layered with tulle skirts make an appearance. Plunge necklines are accentuated with silver beading, and the lines continue with silk that elongates as it skims the body. Sharp, clean lines abound in the collection, giving brides a chance to let powerful personalities shine.
The Tony Ward 2016 Bridal collection has grace and softness to offer to, with richly layered lace, floral appliqué, and silver embroidered vines on soft clouds of tulle. The beautiful details are carefully balanced so as not to overpower the classic silhouettes, or the bride. Illusion necklines are elaborately crafted with lace florals or pleated tulle for an ethereal effect. Crystal embroidery delicately criss-cross in organic patterns, like trickling silver rain. Gowns have a subtle, luxurious shimmer with artfully scattered crystals, and textures are rich and detailed with the layering of fabrics.
With its wide range of styles, the Tony Ward 2016 Bridal collection this Spring Summer has a lot to offer the modern bride, whether she chooses to show her softer, more romantic side, or to express her confidence in a stronger and more unusual statement piece.
