Pledge Your Love at iFly Singapore’s Rooftop Sky Garden
Last week, we were invited to the celebration of iFly Singapore’s 4th Anniversary, and Grand Opening of the Rooftop Sky Garden and were blown away by the beautiful indoor space and sprawling garden terrace, all decked out romantically for a solemnisation ceremony. If you’re searching for the perfect lush venue for your big day, this garden in the sky is what you need.
Saying “I do” at the newly refurbished rooftop Sky Garden will be a whole new experience. Located on the roof of iFly Singapore Sky Garden Solemnisation, the newly refurbished rooftop Sky Garden cleverly brings together the best of an outdoor garden and indoor air-conditioned wedding, giving you the dream garden wedding you’ve always wanted without compromising on your or your guests’ comforts. We were given a tour of the space just as the sun started to set, turning the sky into gorgeous shades of blue, orange and yellow, before we were seated for a mock solemnisation ceremony that climaxed with a burst of fireworks display.
The alfresco garden terrace area was decked out in an alluring solemnisation set-up complete with romantic Tiffany chairs and a flower-petals aisle. Behind, a live band belted out comforting soft tunes as the sky slowly turned dark. The alfresco area also features an elegant lounge area, where guests can order a libation of their choice from the nearby bar and gaze out into the sea.
An awning over the bar area can also be released if you’re looking to extend the indoors outwards, or kept if you would like to dine under the stars. Whether you say your “I do’s” against the mesmerising paranomic view of the South China Sea and the beautiful evening sunset glow, or time it to coincide with the twice-daily Sentosa fireworks, you’ll walk away with a unique wedding experience and one-of-a-kind wedding photographs.
The crowd adjourned indoors to the chic and modern air-conditioned area, where a delectable spread of gourmet dishes by Rasel Catering Singapore was waiting. The surrounding white walls and ceilings, and light oak brown flooring gave the already spacious room a heightened sense of space, putting everyone at comfort and ease. The area comes with a brightly lit VIP holding room which doubles as the bride’s changing and makeup chamber, discretely hiding her away from her guests until her grand entrance. On the adjacent end of the room lies a stage and feature wall that can be transformed into any backdrop and decorated according to your theme, perfect for photo-taking or wedding toasts.
Couples will be pleased to know that aside from Rasel Catering Singapore, Sky Garden also works with two other renowned caterers, Halal-certified Orange Clove Catering and Purple Sage, a no-pork no-lard caterer. More importantly, they’ll be delighted to learn that weddings at Sky Garden are highly customisable and they have a choice between a lavish Western sit-down or an authentic Chinese banquet style dinner, or a buffet-style arrangement.
With the capacity of seating approximately 100 guests, the Sky Garden is the perfect venue for couples who are in pursuit of an intimate garden wedding.
