Divine Couture 2014 Bridal Evening Wear Collection
Divine Couture’s 2014 evening wear collection is a celebration of a woman’s grace and femininity. Staying true to its dainty aesthetic, the design house showcased a runway of classically feminine silhouettes and flattering cuts, each gown perfectly tailored to gracefully skim curves with soft fabrics and rich hues. At The Westin’s wedding show, the collection floated down the grand runway with all the poise of Eliza Doolittle turned lady of high society.
The collection opened with an effusion of soft pink and purple tulle, the elegant gowns brilliantly accented with Tiffany and Co’s sparkling diamond jewellery. As the models walked beneath the ballroom’s magnificent chandeliers, the beautiful craftsmanship of the gowns was evident in the way the fabric gracefully rippled and flowed with each step.
Silhouettes were kept clean and classic, and combined with delicate pleating, intricate floral applique, and romantic textures to create beautiful, graceful gowns. The collection celebrated all kinds of womanly charms. In deep hues like the classic fire-engine red and royal blue were elegant sheaths glamourously embellished with lace details and sparkling stones. Brightly coloured gowns also made an appearance, a stunning yellow gown turning heads in particular. Modern cheongsams kept all the pretty florals and hourglass silhouettes of their heritage, and featured bejewelled illusion backs for a sensual update. Sophisticated and decorous, these gowns were made to reflect the poise of the refined bride. For your night of glamour, a gown from Divine Couture will imbue a celestial grace and luxury.
