The Pan Pacific Singapore Wedding Showcase
Every Singaporean bride knows that the best way to do her wedding research is to attend a wedding show where she’ll be able to meet the necessary wedding vendors, tour the hotel premises and sample the chef’s culinary mastery at the buffet spread. The middle of the year, where most of the wedding show action takes place, is the best time for this. Pan Pacific Singapore joins in the action this June with a wedding showcase that also unveils the hotel’s new look.
Conveniently located in the heart of Marina Bay with world-class shopping, the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Central Business District within arm’s reach, Pan Pacific Singapore is not only a perfect venue for weddings, but a popular one as well. The Pan Pacific Singapore Wedding Showcase on 2 June 2013 enjoyed a rousing success as soon-to-be-wed couples flocked to join for an afternoon of inspiring fashion display by La Belle Couture, a hi-tea reception lovingly prepared by the hotel’s finest and one-on-one interaction with Pan Pacific Singapore’s wedding vendors.
The newly renovated Atrium was where the highlight of the wedding show took place. Couples were seated at the handmade timbre pods scattered across the lobby and along the 22-metre long Atrium bar where they enjoyed an up-close and personal view of La Belle Couture’s latest wedding collection as models strutted around the spacious Atrium. Aside from exuding a warm and relaxing environment, the handmade timbre pods were also an aesthetic delight. The pods were deliberately set above a water feature to resemble sky lanterns rising above the ocean when they were viewed from the top down.
Couples later adjourned to the pillar-less Pacific and Ocean Ballrooms for a glimpse of Pan Pacific Singapore’s wedding themes and table set-ups. Each end of the ballrooms showcased one of the four different themes – Medieval of Love, Blue Jazz, Spring Rhapsody and the hotel’s latest wedding theme, Blissful Amore. Couples took their time surveying the splendid displays decked out in passionate reds, romantic hues of pink and purple and icy blues as they toured the ballrooms. The Pacific Ballroom has a banquet seating capacity of up to 680 guests and both ballrooms come with a private foyer to host your pre-wedding cocktail reception, which was used to host the delectable hi-tea reception and other participating vendors that afternoon.
Couples were also welcome to tour the hotel as Pan Pacific Singapore’s dedicated team of wedding professionals brought them on an extensive tour of the solemnisation and tea ceremony showcases and the Bridal Suite. The afternoon ended with an array of exclusive promotional perks to be won for any bookings done on the same day and a lucky draw grand prize of a one-night weekend stay in Pan Pacific Singapore’s Presidential Suite with Pacific Club access worth $5000++.
