Hi

I'm thinking of replacing the normal flower petals with white feathers for my 1st march-in but have no idea where to buy them. Tried looking out at Spotlight but can't find.

Any1 have any idea where to buy?

I tried looking in Spotlight too...

Let me know if you can locate a shop that sells them at reasonable price...

Are you concerned abt the "debris" left on the table after the march in, since they can go into the beverage of yr guests?

i'm intending to juz let my flower ger throwing the feathers, so i dun tink she'll be able to throw very hard & fly into the beverages... ^^

for guests i tink i'll still stick wif white petals so there's a mixture of feathers & petals...

my hubby say cut out the feather pillow to get the feathers but imma not sure abt tat.. haha

I know...Jin Long in Chinatown sells feathers..in all sorts of colours..

But it may be more expensive throwing feathers as compared to flower petals.

Cheers

I am just wondering.. if throw feathers.... what size are we looking at? small size feathers? I know Chinatown got sell feathers, but 1 feather is like abt 8 - 10cm?

I am interested in doing this too, but i just cannot picture my flower girls throwing big feathers.. will it be weird?

Hey ,

well , i think it depends on the style of you wedding bah, feather like more dreamy kind , petals like more sweet sweet kind, hahahaha. But both are pretty in their own ways. Good luck.

I found feathers at Spotlight.. 1 packet is about $7. And I think u will need about 2 packets for 1 flower girl. But the feathers are about 6 cm long.. it's still too big to throw...

Please do not throw feathers. I went to my friend's wedding and some of the guests help to throw feathers. Instead of us clapping, we were blocking our wine glass or whatever glass so that the feathers did not flew into our glasses. And those who clapped, there would bound to be feathers flying into the glasses and they had to change so that lead to wastage of drinks. Furthermore those small feathers (less than 1cm) were still floating around when we were eating our first course.
