i agree with little poppets...men will never get sick of new gadgets...i ever got for my hubby a LG touch screen phone, a new sound system for his car, 2 watches, etc...next item on my mind will be his most wanted DSLR nikon d90..but not so soon la...hehehe..

must be a surprise one?

diffy...then i guess you will have to think real hard on what he really want as a surprise pressie le..need to observe the stuff that he already has around him and make your decision on what to get liao

little_poppets..that's so true lor...my husb got me a bag and so, i got him the stuff that he wanted...and men always don't understand why we women need so many bags or shoes..kept saying no resale value also, unlike things like camera or GPS, where they can sell after they are sick of it..haiz..

Haha.....ya.....my hubby says I can compare the characteristics of some bags.....like he can compare the characteristics of some gadgets, eg. PS3, Wii or Xbox.... to me is, can play game one is good player....keke.....

But my hubby knows that different types of shoes go with different types of dresses and go with different types of handbags and go with different types of accessories..... he has resigned himself to his fate of my asking, "does this goes with that dress/ bag/ shoes?" when we go shopping. :p

Do we expect our partners to just understand us? Its a learning curve. Either they learn it in the relationship with you or with their past relationships.

And the irony of it is, many people MIND their partners past. We want the good part of their experience but at the same time want to erase their history.

Very true but contradictory about humans.

Generally, guys expects support and gals expects understanding. Both don't pop out of no where.

oh my.. i am so sorry for riding on this thread!!!

hmmm...ok. my super bf's birthday is in a matter of weeks now and all my plans that i've painstakingly planned for half a year just keeps getting changed over n over again.. (frustration man) It's kinda like a very important day for me because every year ever since we've been together for the past 5 years, i've always had to fly overseas during his birthday due to commitments with work, school and family and this year, it is the first year i am actually going to plan something really amazing without having to worry catching the flight the next day.

But anyway, due to financial budgeting, seems like i can only plan the birthday in singapore... Booked the new majestic hotel (heard was fantastic n cool???)

But problem. What should i plan (activities) IN singapore tt he would really really love (and not just enjoy) and also very very memorable n special??? I know all he wants is to spend a peaceful night out with me but i feel the need to plan an activity tt is unique to do.. We've practically been to everywhere like the flyer, esplanade, zoo alike, reverse bungeess, sentosa, etc etc.. -_-" any racing activities? hahaha

racking brains... any suggestion of fun n unique activities to do in singapore tt u have done with your partner tt will possibly be a memorable ever lasting memory for us? hahaha... super ironic i know.

P.S my friends, strangely i find this recollecting of memories very therapeutic.
