Hi all BTBs out there,
I would like to personally share my experience having engaged WeddingRitz for my pre-wed shoot sometime back in October 2017. WeddingRitz is considered one of the renowned direct Korea agencies out there and most people would have heard of this name if they did their research. Well, i too, did my side of homework and decided to engage them for my shoot in October 2017.
But don’t be fooled by them! Its all marketing gimmick and out to make you believe they are really that trustworthy and good! I had to learn it the hard way. We paid for their services and as stated in my contract, I will be given a 30pg edited photo album, 1 x 20R frame as well as a behind-the-scene video. And prior to engaging them, I had made them assured me that all the said products will reach me by end of February 2018 as my wedding is scheduled in March 2018, unfortunately, its all empty talks.
I only received the original copies 2 weeks or so after the shoot, and it was with multiple chasers on my end that I get to see the photos. And upon receiving them, I realised many pictures were disastrous! Our props like party hats were being cropped out, the backdrop were not properly laid, my gowns were all wrinkled (a folded line around the gown when you sit down and stand afterwards) and no one told us at all. Not to mention the photographer simply snaps all the way without ensuring things were in order.
We then sent emails to the agency highlighting our concerns to be photoshopped, but the response were delayed. Months passed, and we’ve yet to even see a single edited picture by WeddingRitz. We’ve tried making long distance calls, but they brush us off most of the times, telling us that they will check with the studio and etc, but of course, they did not come back with any answer.
This is not the worse yet. Whats ridiculous is that they became total un-contactable by February and my wedding is over and I still did not get my products at all. Comments in Facebook and their official website all got deleted (very promptly, always on the same day), their number became unavailable and I’m not even sure if they’ve moved. They've also blocked my email in their official website so i am unable to post anything.
Until today, i am still chasing for my products even though my wedding is over because its my right and i paid for them!
So all BTBs planning to take pre-wed shoot in Korea, NEVER choose WeddingRitz. Its a scam for sure. Please do help me to spread the word because i know i am not the only one. I saw couples from Hongkong, Indonesia and Malaysia have also fall into their trap.
