Wedding gowns - Long or Short Train?

Hi BTBs...

Just wonder which one will you prefer?

Is long train suitable for march-in? Will it be difficult to walk?

Or normal length one (no or short train) is better?

for march in, long train more impressive. personally i dont find it difficult to walk around in it coz i had someone holding it. but if you intend to mingle alot, try a short or no train... my hubby (and others!) were stepping on my eg train the entire night coz nobody helped to hold! part of the lining even tore coz of that!

nope it's to keep. but anyway it's just the lining that was torn, so no big deal. yet to get it fixed though

Long train is more grand.. some bridal gowns with long train comes with a tiny hook attached to the back of the gown so that the bride can hook the end of the train to it and she can walk around and mingle easily.

Long Train is more grand and speacial, in a way that it's only once in a life time you get to wear long train gown, for dinner first march in, you can have very long train (as long as u like) as u do not need to walk around much,

As for EG, as u need to walk around for photo taking then maybe can choose a short/medium train, to save the time when you walk from table to table too

Ya.. I am actually thinking of getting long train for march in and normal length for evening gown..

Do you think 3 gowns for AD is ok?
1 WG for solemnisation and to receive guests
1 WG with Super long train for 1st march-in
1 EG for 2nd March in.

My HTB asked if I wanna have 4 gowns.. but I think 4 is too much leow. No time to change coz still need to go round to take photos

3 sounds good. as for time to change, depends on how many tables you have? we had 40+, 1 change is more than enough! we hardly had time to mingle after table to table shots!

but i think its more meaningful for you to mingle with the guests and enjoy your wedding night rather than rushing to change

yeah.. mingling with guest more important than fashion show.

Dunwan to stuck in the changing room most of the time also.
