Sure, Soisuka. You can be doubtful for all you want. All I'm saying is I know all these things about surveys and probability, if not maybe even more than you do but I don't use it in my 'arguments' or 'debates' here because I'm not conducting a survey or generalising a conclusion to a larger population here. To me, this is a forum. One needs not harp on evidence etc. In any case, do you really know any REAL personality here? It's very true that I could jolly well be a male, 50 years old, PSLE graduate or whatever. Citing my masters is not to show that I'm damn highly educated. In case you don't know, a masters is very easy to attain. It takes hard work NOT that much of intelligence. I'm citing my masters to basically tell ya I know those things about surveys and statistics but I know when I should use that. Certainly not here. Certainly not when it is about affairs of the heart issues with so many uncontrolled variables! I don't want to start speaking like a philosopher too about fallacies or false dichotomy or whatever not. Some like to do it in this forum and I don't know why. Is it because they can't separate studies or work from casual chat? Will they apply those theories and statistics to their daily lives in EVERYTHING they do? I don't know. But I do know a partner who harps on evidence evidence is not cute to another unless both are into evidences and statistics.

You are so wrong. You only read selectively about good things I mentioned here. You failed to read those past failures I've mentioned in the forum. I would say without the past failures/mistakes in my life, I would be nothing.

Then I can only say you're hearing the wrong things as you based it on what's written here. I know myself best. A long time ago, I wrote here that my masters doesn't even get me more $. I pursued it purely for self-improvement. You may continue to think I'm boastful even when I talk about my blissful marriage. When I talked about my blissful marriage, I didn't think it just come luckily without past failures with other men. I'm just counting my blessings and sharing what I think can help lead to a blissful marriage. I don't have to 'hear myself' because I know myself best and people I personally know (not from the net) know me best and that's all it matters, especially after telling you how I actually think fails to make you 'hear' me.

Last but not least, a teacher's job is not a glamorous job to begin with. I've once said that I've probably 'spent all my patience on kids' that when I'm here, sometimes I just unleash my unhappiness when my day's not good and someone crossed me here. When did I say I'm patient because I'm a teacher? You love factual information so you should try to get your facts right before giving hypothetical situations.

I just can't stand the office politics and a crazy HOD. The teaching profession now is infested by jokers and morons. Nobody really care for the children!

Scope, the office politics sucks big time. I can attest to that. People often hear of stories on how children make teachers cry. That didn't happen to me but office politics did affect me.

Yes, in a way, I do not agree with some moe 'rules' and 'guidelines' or bureaucratic systems too. I'll only 'climb to a certain point' and stop there. I don't want to do this forever. The higher you climb in a govt job, the less freedom and privacy you have. Interestingly, the more you have 'less say' too.

I guess I became the GTO of my school. The parents were surprised I was concern and called them up because my 'colleagues' never bothered.

I simply don't understand what the fock MOE is doing all these years.
