Transport for jiemeis

Hi gals, may I check how u all settle the transport for jiemeis?
I wonder if it is okie to call cab and reimburse for the cab fare to send them home instead of brothers' car cuz we do not have enuf cars to send all home.. i hope it doesnt feel weird.

only 1 brother has car and we have too many sisters and brothers all living in all corners of sg.

I think you don't need to pick them or send them home. What we usually do is, during the day, i.e. for transport between groom's house, bride's house, etc, the brothers will just drive them around. But the jie meis make their own way to the bride's house and to home/dinner venue.

ya.. i agree with ene. last time i join jie mei aso go to the bride hse separately but during the ceremony maybe have to join in

Come to this topic.. can anyone know whether is is those married ladies then they cannot join as jie mei liao ? or it does not apply liao

Ohh.. so it doesnt really matter now? hee.. thats good to know. becuz few of my fren's wedding day, they arrange for the brothers to send jie mei's home after the morning activity.

i think normally morn part they will have to make their own way to my hse. mine is before 6am so abit siong for them to take cab here and home after that if also no transport home. so i am thinking of reimbursing the transport after my tea ceremony. mb give them taxi vouchers or angbao? hee.. not sure if it is practised.

Any Idea how can I get cars for the jiemeis n bro for just a trip from bride's place to the groom only? I don wana rent a car a day, for more mine is over the weekends... My frens don hav cars too...

u can consider to renting a one way trip mini van. ard 13seater.

not very ex considering it can accomodate loads of ppl.

van rental charge per hour for unlimited trips is avg $40 to $50.
