The 3D image against an actual image of the completed @aanurul #abodenssss! The similarity is almost uncanny, yes? The 3D rendering is one of the most important aspect in home renovation. It shows clients how their home could potentially look, and most of the time, the results post-renovation will try to be closest to the rendering image.

More of the actual pictures of @aanurul completed home. This is the entrance and living room of their home. We made some changes to the staircase leading down to their dining area by removing the number of steps. More elderly friendly we guess.

How about this woody, with white and black tones kitchen? The square tiles, which used to be a very popular feature back in the 90s have been making a comeback after subway tiles seem to flood the market. Classic, and yet super versatile, these square tiles would work in modern, contemporary, vintage or industrial homes!

Be bold, if you DARE! While solid colours exude the feeling of being prim and proper, textured design like this wardrobe creates a visual treat. Such treatments provide depth and to prevent looking too overwhelming, the look is controlled with clean and sleek design and minimal colours in the surrounding areas.

It is a simple plan. Use solid colour, introduce texture with wood, and you’d get a feature TV wall that is pleasing to the eyes! We then incorporate niche where homeowners could display decorative items or like in this case, books to inject a little of their personality to the home!

A study, separated by wardrobe and shelvings to provide ample storage in this room. The desk, strategically placed in the brightest area of the room provides an ideal place to study in, and probably allow the mind to wander off as the eyes could look far out of the window.

A glass wall and door is one of the most flexible addition to any home. It gives you the flexibility to close off the room when you need to, and yet allows light to pass through so that the house appears spacious and airy!

Marbled wall tiles for the toilet, complemented by a soft grey flooring and then to just add that pop of visual interest, a deep and dark vanity. A simple touch of wood helps to warm up the toilet, and you pretty much would potty like a rock star in here!

This master bedroom with a row of wardrobe leading up to the platform bed. For a boutique feel, a mirror was installed on the opposite side with a pouf to complete an almost walk-in wardrobe experience.

Using a headboard that is of the similar design as the wardrobe helps to tie in the concept together. We proposed a simple clean line look so as to allow the wood grains to stand out in the space.

The good thing about customising your storage or display unit is that we can maximise the full height of your space. Plus, we can create a design that is uniquely yours and a storage that fits anything you need to display!

Placing something as prominent as a grand piano in a home requires meticulous planning. Such big sized item would normally be used as the main feature while everything else should be kept subdued like the carpentary of this TV wall. Using flat white, complemented with warm wood, the design are kept simple, or probably just the right amount of zest for visual interest without competing with the piano.

Customising a wardrobe to suit your needs and usage pattern is one of the thing that we always like to focus on. Tell us in detail what do you normally store in your wardrobe, and we can create a customised spaces for everything!

A simple toilet set up, with floating vanity in contrasting marble colour. The veinous marble is the feature in the space, and hence we kept everything else as simple as possible so that it does not overwhelm the senses.

Breaking the 3D inspirations with images of completed work. This is a toilet in HDB unit, with whimsical tiles, and a screen at the side to help prevent water from seeping through the vanity. The contrast of black and white is always loved, isn’t it?

One of the things that we love to see is how our clients transform a blank canvas into a home that is truly theirs. This completed project, in neutral shades of black, white and grey is really calming and cosy!

Also, taking a break from the sea of neutral palettes to one that has colours! This soft pine green cabinet in the kitchen and dining, separating the wet and dry kitchen function pops up against the neutral walls. The woody dining table complements the green tones really well, and helped warm up the space with its warm undertone.

Neutrals are not all greys and whites and blacks. Natural wood tones like oaks and pines are also perfect neutral palettes that works with many design idea and concepts.

The entryway is the first point of contact for any homes. Doing up a storage cabinet there not only sets the tone to the rest of the home but also keep the entryway neat with proper storage.

The versatility of wood is further proven with the usage of this wood laminate with black. In contrast to the lightness of white, the darkness of black emote a sense of cosiness and luxe in this bedroom.

Continuing the bedroom we shared yesterday, this platform bed set parallel against the window prevents you from feeling trapped. The wardrobe backdrop in wood helps to introduce texture and warmth in an otherwise minimalist bedroom.

A built-in bench at the dining table is not such a bad idea. It could be customed to include storage space and be made in colours that complement your interior. Add mirrors to create an illusion of space and also to help reflect light!

We have always love the sight of simple kitchen. This is the space where we feel that focus on functionality is imperative and we try to couple that with simplicity in design so that maintenance is a breeze.

Sometimes, something so simple could actually create a big impact to your interior. A feature TV wall with wood laminate contrasting the console and shelf in black could create such a clean and sleek vibe to a contemporary home.

Matte black. Dark and mysterious. Yet, when paired with light coloured floors and backsplash, this moody tone will exude a sense of luxe to your interior.

The clean and simplistic look of this bedroom would probably ensure a restful sleep with no clutter. A three-doors full height wardrobe tucked at the side in deep grey wood grain complements the soft pastel wall.

What is it about white? The absence of colours only meant that the design can be clinical and neat. The clinical look can be further enhanced with design in clean lines with minimal accessories.

The interior of this kitchen is given a contemporary feel to it with the clinical white laminate and clean design. The twist in this simple kitchen is the unique backsplash made up of irregular tiles design.

Love warm tones? How about this herringbone floor with rattan-like cabinet along the walkway. The different textures in this space made the place looks interesting while the white walls help to break the look keeping everything under control.

Why have boring walkways when you can have storage with pretty doors like this! The detailing on the doors framed by warm wood tones creates a boho-vibe to the space. Coupled with the herringbone patterned floor, this walkway is sure to be a conversational piece.

In the final installment of the boho-chic interior shared over the last two days, here is one for the dining room. The warm wood tones in different hues ensure that the space looks well put together, while still being differentiated because of the different tones used.

Everyone deserves a vanity mirror that would make you shine bright, almost like a diamond. This custom vanity provide storage drawer so that things could be kept neat and not clutter the top.

Always wanted an open concept walk-in wardrobe but do not wish to deal with the dusts? A glass door with illuminating lights within the wardrobe could probably be something for you to consider.

“I want a simple kitchen!”. Here you go! Having a top and bottom cabinet amplify the storage space needed in a kitchen. This functional kitchen in deep black matte laminate looks masculine and yet neat and pleasing to the eyes.

Joining two rooms together to function as one usable space makes a spacious master room. Making a small opening hides most of your storage away while still giving a good flow between your resting place and your dressing space.

A dark palette in the toilet has the ability to exude an expensive look akin to a five stars hotel. The marbled patterned wall tiles looks luxe, and is muted down with a simple matte grey floor tiles. Simple design, maximum impact.

A full length mirror that spans the full height of the wall too help to create an impression of a bigger and taller space. Dial up the visual interest by using coloured mirror like this grey one which helps reflect light but less harsh than a clear mirror.

Now, we take a break from home renovation ideas to make way for images of our new showroom at Joo Chiat. Here is the image of our mocked up masterbedroom with Chevron patterned headboard that stretches from the floor to the ceiling. Using the lightness of oak, it contrasted well with the deepness of black accents.

Here’s the full shot of the bedroom set up in our showroom. A ledge that spreads across the headboard wall elongates the room while being used to accessorise the space and can function as a side table.
