We work alot with neutral and natural tones in interiors because these palette are able to withstand trends over time. They are flexible and adaptable to almost any changes in design that home owners would implement in the future. Here, the wood against the soft greys provide a perfect backdrop for punches of colours in accessories.

A high contrast design in black and white do help make a toilet look extraordinary! Play with shapes, and lines to help keen the design interesting and again, the usage of marbles just to keep everything look that little bit... extravagant!

Let’s play a game! Is this a 3D drawing, or an actual photo of a project we recently completed? Light oaks are always amazing to be used in the kitchen. Lightly coloured to keep the space bright, and yet natural enough to give the kitchen warmth!

Taking a short break from showcasing our 3D works to some recently completed projects. This almost masculine kitchen in charcoal and natural wood laminate cabinet sure did make a strong statement at this BTO unit.

A half height wall allows you to have a low cabinet on the other side while still being an open concept. The mirror adjacent to the kitchen helps to widen the area further, while help reflect light.

Plain subway tiles could still make a statement through how it is being placed. Here, the subway tiles is arranged in the classic subway, a wildly popular choice because of how timeless it is and how this design would complements other shapes like the round mirror. Be sure to keep the accessories and design of the vanity as simplistic as possible to allow the subway pattern to shine through.

Designs for home need not be complicated. Clean lines, solid colours, and all without the frills always make a home look cosy. The TV console while being the focal point of this living room is kept simple to prevent clutters. Making it full height also creates an impression of taller ceiling.

The effects of dark carpentary creates a deep and rich feel in any space. This black cabinet lends a luxe look to the interior, with natural light permeating through the service yard preventing the kitchen from looking too dark.

What would be an alley of wall and bomb shelter door at the entry way looks a little more dressy with carpentary built for storage. Introducing carpentary with patterns and design just made it a little more interesting, don’t you think?

The likes of whites and natural wood will always be easy on the eyes. This L-shaped configuration while being common, is probably also the most functional. Take notice of the elevated backsplash in frosted glass at the sink area. It prevents water mess from spilling at the service yard, while being transparent to allow lights to still permeate through.

Not into white walls? How about this calming light hint of taupe complementing the nice woody element of the platform bed and contrasting black wardrobe? The simple design is so pleasing and calming to the eyes.

Every now and then, minimalism takes a backseat and along came something a little over the top. When there are different elements in the space, string the look together with complementing colours. This help to keep the look restrain and controlled.

Simple design elements like graphic paint works can easily convert a blah space to fabulousness in an instant. Here, all we did is paint the wall with grey and white in linear line to create something that’s almost like a feature wall.

Such highly contrasted kitchen with dark cabinets can be balanced through allowing flood of natural lights to enter from service yard. This kitchen also separates the dry and wet kitchen functions in two spaces, allowing for better functionality.

Here’s a before and after picture of a bedroom with platform bed set up. The seamless flow from the wardrobe, to the bed to the vanity table surrounding the perimeter of the room keeps it neat and spacious.

Every single detail, plays a big part that not many may have noticed. The placement of the laminate showing the wood grains running horizontally creates an impression of a wide kitchen. Amplify the spaciousness of the space by adding solid white at the top cabinet and the sleek and clean white tampered glass backsplash.

How is this for a kitchen? A bar table as a conversational point to entertain or have a quick morning breakfast while you get busy at the kitchen stove. Plus, that graphic tiles adds an interesting visual to this beautiful grey kitchen!

Here is where design meets function. Using a sleek black feature wall for TV that not only act as an anchorpoint for the living room but also provides storage space. The rest of the design feature in this home is left in muted tones to balance the drama from the darker TV area.

Instead of the regular flat and seamless back at the wardrobe when doing this layout, it is possible to have it configured to hold shelves for display. Outlining the grey wardrobe with the stark black just added a bit of edge to this simple master bedroom.

The dressing area of the same room that we showcased yesterday. In a limited space, consider using sliding doors for the wardrobe. This configuration then allowed space for a dressing bench which would not be possible with regular wardrobe doors.

Using @kompacplus as a kitchen top and backsplash creates a seamless kitchen space. The clinical white, contrasting the warm wood tones highlight the beauty of the grains. It is also good to add some black details with lightings for visual interests.

A kitchen peninsular can always be dual function, for storage on one side and as a bar table on the other. Keeping the design simple and clean in this one with white finishes and deep wood top.

You can never discount the luxe appeal of black carpentary against a white worktop and backsplash. Crisp, and sharp, the contrast of this monochromatic combination would always give the kitchen a strong visual that is timeless.

We could all do with a little pampering and feel like we are staying in boutique hotel at home, don’t we? Deep, and dark tones, along with a grand feature wall at the headboard, sculptural lighting, and a vanity area fit for a star! Who would not want to retire for the day in luxe?

In love with yesterday’s bedroom? Here is what is on the other side. A walk-in wardrobe, separated by a glass door with ample light flooding in to shed brightness in an otherwise dark set up. You can’t deny the expensive feel that this room exudes.

The grey and white palette have been so popular and would remain so due to its versatility and timelessness. The play with lines in this home design is very apparent, exuding a sleek appeal while the introduction of bold lightings at the dining area added just that nice amount of drama in this subdued home.

When it comes to carpentary works, we love to play around with shapes. Here, we broke the right angle by hanging a pendant light. Apart from being aesthetically pleasing, it can work as mood lighting for a cosy atmosphere in the darkness of the night.

The galley styled kitchen addresses issues with narrow HDB kitchen layout as it allows more storage spaces. Further amplify the sense of space by removing the door and louvre windows separating the kitchen and the service yard.

We could all dream for a bathroom worthy of a five-stars hotel. The usage of brown and taupe warms up the toilet allowing it to exude a sense of luxury without being too gaudy.

Another completed project that takes marbling, very seriously. The nice veinous marble were used as a backsplash taking it all the way up to the ceiling. Solid colours were selected for the counter top and cabinets so that the marble would stand out.

This completed kitchen project with one huge island would probably be one that is perfect for entertaining. You can prepare food in the kitchen, guests can gather around the island, and everybody could hold a conversation together. Imagine what a spread that kitchen island could serve?

The side view of the kitchen we shared yesterday. The clean white top cabinet flowing down to the sleek white glass backsplash makes the wood grains from the bottom cabinet stand out. The marble top just give the kitchen an edge and heighten the visual profile of the kitchen.

More images of our completed project. This teal kitchen with subway tiles and marble kitchen top has an increased amount of work space by creating an L-shaped layout in the kitchen. Using colours as the main visual in the space, the carpentary design is then kept simple so that it is easy on the eyes.

Who’s here are team white?!! A white home will always create an impression of an enourmous amount of space and a sense of airiness. Warm it up with a touch of wood, gold and some plants and you will have a home that you’d never want to leave.

Continuing the whites from the living room, this wardrobe cum study provides the homeowner with so much storage that clutter will never be an issue. Add touches of gold in simple things like the door knobs, elevates the look of this simple space!

That full sized mirror not only helps to make this interior look spacious, but it also help to reflect light for a brighter looking room. Simple design, and yet we made it functional so that no space is wasted.

Consider having a sink outside the toilet, while incorporating a space for washing machine beside it. This wet area improves function by having additional counter top space to place the toiletries on top of the washing machine.

Shaker style cabinet with subway marble tiles is like a marriage made in heavy. The woody kompacplus kitchen top completes the farmhouse feel in this kitchen while introducing warmth to the interior.

Older HDB homes have toilets that are really narrow, and the possibility of making it interesting can be quite challenging sometimes. Here, we used marble from floor to wall, keeping the rest of the design fuss free so that the focus will be on the random veinous patterns.

Tid Plus Design

The softness of greys, against marble is always a welcoming combination that is soft and soothing. Greys are also typically easy to maintain, and these days there are many marble looking tops that does not stain, so cleaning will be a breeze.

Another grey kitchen with a more contemporary feel. We used hexagonal tiles as the backsplash and the main feature in this kitchen, and kept everything else muted and soft. Then we added the marble kitchen top just for a touch of luxe.

Remember this design we posted earlier this month? If the monotones of black, white and greys does not appeal to you, how about adding in a hint of teal? This gem colour is a definite mood uplifter, despite its dark character.

The jewel tone on the carpentary is further enhanced by a sliver of gold in the likes of of the door handle. It’s a simple accessory, and yet through this simple addition, the interior looks luxe and warm!

If budget permits, it is always a good idea to use the same marble material to wrap the island. This look creates fluidity in the design, making the space looks seamless.

Having wood at home would always invoke the sense of warmth and cosiness. The TV Feature wall, made up of strips of vertical wood creates a serious looking home while emphasizing the height of the space at the same time.

Probably as simple as it could get. In crisp black and white, this wrap-around kitchen would be easy to maintain. The sleek lines was paired with hexagonal tiles on the backsplash creating a pretty visual in this simple design.
